For a very long time, I suffered continuous pain in foot to the point where I couldn’t walk without complaint. Dr. Holthusen performed surgery and made my life better. I can walk again. Thank you Dr. Holthusen!

One morning my son slipped on the ice at work and broke his ankle. I rushed to his work not knowing what to expect but I knew it was bad if he asked them to call me. When I got there he was sitting in a wheelchair with a very unstable foot. I called my husband to let him know that we were on the way to TCO. As soon as I pulled up in front of the building, the medical team were waiting at the door to receive him. They took him straight to get an X-ray and confirmed his ankle was broken. When I saw the X-rays, I knew right away this was a major injury.

Coincidentally, Dr. Engasser was just finishing up a procedure when he was called for a consult. He said this needs to be fixed right away. He asked my son if he had eaten and thankfully he had not. Dr. Engasser gave us an overview of the procedure and said it would take about 45 minutes to repair. He asked us if we wanted him to take my son to surgery now or wait. I was shocked by his response as this was the day before Thanksgiving and he was finished with his case load for the day. My husband and said in unison, “let’s do it today”. Dr. Engasser called pre-op and booked the procedure. Not knowing how long we would be there, I took my girls back home so they didn’t have to wait. I was on my way back and my husband called and said the procedure was DONE.

The surgery went well and his post-op scan was beautiful. Dr. Engasser repaired the ankle with screws that were placed beautifully and with surgical precision. The entire process from the time we entered the facility until the time we left was 4 hours. Nothing in medicine, especially involving surgery takes 4 hours! I’m still in awe because if we were at a hospital, we would still be waiting.

To Dr. Engasser and the entire medical personnel at Twin Cities Orthopedics and the Minnesota Valley Surgery Center, THANK YOU for the outstanding patient care provided to my son! I am thankful and forever grateful!

I want to express my utmost gratitude to you, your team, and the whole TCO team. We ended up in your care under very unfortunate circumstances with a little girl who was very traumatized by her injury. The TCO team was so gracious, patient and caring. I could not thank you guys enough. From the person who answered my call at the call center and got us an appointment with Dr. Moeller, while keeping me on the phone for 30 minutes to figure out how to make it happen on the same day. Wow what persistence and care to maneuver all the pieces to make it happen. To the care team in the office who was so respectful of my daughter and her needs, not once minimizing her feelings, or being annoyed at her crying. To you, who stayed with us while we called insurance to figure out if your clinic was in network for our insurance. And of course, Dr. Moeller who took such great care of our little girl while having to change surgery locations.

Honestly from the bottom of my heart thank you so very much. Thank you for the work you are doing. Your efforts and care does not go unnoticed by our family.

I completely messed up my shoulder and with the help and expertise of Dr. Norberg and his staff, including TCO Physical Therapist Mike Dixey, I am well into full recovery. Dr. Norberg and his team took me on this journey professionally, with care, supporting and guiding me towards full recovery. They were always there with a smile to answer questions and reassure me that we were on the right track. I want to thank Dr. Arthur once again for wonderful care. He saw me in August for a torn meniscus and recommended rest, icing, and elevation before my “bucket list” trip to Egypt. His recommendations worked! My husband and I had a fabulous trip to Egypt and Petra, then went on to meet our daughter and her children in Dubai, staying at Atlantis. Dr. Jeffery Mair has been my provider for the last few years, managing my osteoarthritis in my left knee. After exhausting cortisone injections to manage pain, I had knee replacement surgery September 20, 2022. He did an amazing job completing my surgery. My pain was managed and he was kind, professional and personable every step of the way. My sister recommended him and I had a much better recovery this time (as opposed to when I had my right knee done in 2016 by another surgeon). I had both my shoulders replaced with Dr. Norberg. He and his team are amazing. From the first visit to the last, they treated me with the utmost professionalism, care and concern. Appointments were prompt, communication was timely, and access to he and his team was readily available. Dr. Norberg was very patient and thorough in his explanation of my shoulder issue and the surgery necessary to repair it. He took the time to address any questions, since I had and to make sure I was comfortable with the surgery and the recovery process. He did not sugarcoat the recovery process, but instead was very realistic. He was encouraging during the follow-up visits. His assessment of when I’d have mobility and be pain free was spot on. My experience was a 10/10 and I would highly recommend him.

I would give Dr. Michael Nemanich five stars! I cannot tell you how relieved and thankful I am for the excellent care I received from him and his incredible team! I highly recommend him. I had been suffering from right hip pain for over a year, which progressively got worse. I am 66 years old and had just retired. My hip arthritis prevented me from doing all of the activities I loved to do; play with my grandchildren, play pickleball, go for hikes, long walks and dancing. I saw Dr. Michael Nemanich and selected him to do my surgery after a thorough review of his exceptional credentials and reviews. Dr. M. Nemanich and his team took such great care of me from admission to discharge and post-op.

My procedure was done through their EXCEL program which is a BEST IN PRACTICE process for joint replacements. It has been fine tuned to provide patients with the best outcome and best experience. It is like a well-oiled machine. There was not one blip in the entire procedure. From the friendly gal that admitted me, to the wonderful and caring surgical nurses, to the recovering nurses at the post op-care suites, I felt so cared for. The care suites were like a upscale hotel! I am now two months post-op and I am back to working out at the gym and walking almost two miles a day, with no cane, no pain, and I’m playing with my grandchildren again. Pickleball is right around the corner too. Thank you Dr. Michael Nemanich, the staff at TCO and the staff at the Care Suites. You’re awesome!

Dr. Anseth replaced both of my hips, my second hip replacement was done in April 2022. I am a pheasant hunt guide in the fall and this was the first year I was able to it pain free! I had 22 hunts in October and walked 167 miles through tall thick grass and cover! There’s no way I would have been able to do this without Dr. Anseth’s help. He and the whole TCO crew were amazing to work with!

I began having chronic ankle pain two years ago and noticed that I was frequently rolling the ankle with normal daily activities. I saw Dr. Engasser and Tiffany to figure out what was wrong and my treatment options. After conservative management for a year, I decided to pursue surgery to repair a torn ligament.
