I finished therapy in April 2023 and want to say thanks to the whole team at TCO. Kristina and Beth did an awesome job in their expertise with me. Dr. Den Hartog did surgery on my ankle to alleviate pain after I had ankle replacement. I had been experiencing pain in my left ankle for years after my ankle replacement. Dr. Den Hartog saw the problem, operated on my ankle and I have been pain free ever since. Thanks to TCO and Dr. Den Hartog for making my life better!

I had troubles with bone-on-bone knee pain. I went through an exam to determine the requirements for a knee replacement. I met with Dr. Bircher and he explained the whole process and procedure. He successfully repaired my right knee and I am completely satisfied with the great care and post-op therapy. Dr. Bircher’s friendly attitude, positivity, and confidence helped with the process. I am now considering when to have my left knee replacement done too. Thank you, Dr. Bircher!

I just had shoulder replacement surgery with Dr. Michael Johnson. I was referred to him by a family member. After being somewhat doubtful of my original surgeon choice, I obtained a second opinion with Dr. Johnson. After reviewing my records, he told me more about what needed to be done than anyone else. I’m 6 days post-op and definitely made the right choice by switching doctors. Highly recommend!

I had been having pain and discomfort in my right knee since high school. At one point, I literally had to hike backwards on the Superior Hiking Trail! After that, my general physician referred me to Dr. Owen O’Neill. I began receiving cortisone injections periodically, eventually having arthroscopic surgery on my right knee in 2009. Now at the age of 70, it was time for a knee replacement. Dr. O’Neill and his team provided a comprehensive Knee Replacement Protocol that I followed to be ready for surgery and recovery post-surgery.

Following surgery, I began physical therapy at TCO’s Edina Minnesota Drive location with Josh Rolfes. I looked forward to my time with Josh. He made our time together fun and helped me understand that, while some of the exercises would hurt, I would not hurt my knee. That helped me! Josh was always prepared. He had something new for me each session and was very encouraging. Now 9 weeks after surgery, you wouldn’t guess I had a knee replacement. The surgery team is top notch. And just as important, the physical therapy post-surgery is vital to a complete recovery! Thank you all! I can’t say enough good things about TCO, and particularly Dr. O’Neill, Isabel, Ann, Casey and Josh.

I went to see Dr. Ridley for pain in my knee. He had an MRI done to see what else may be going on and discovered 2 blood clots that were not related to my knee pain. He called me when he found them and had me go to the ER immediately for an ultrasound. I was put on blood thinners to treat them. The discovery was incredible, and I am very thankful to Dr. Ridley for going the extra mile to ensure there was nothing else going on that he couldn’t see through an x-ray.

I highly recommend Dr. Christopher Meyer and his team at Twin Cities Orthopedics. I had been dealing with severe hip pain on my right side for the last few years. After having total hip replacement surgery, I am now pain free! I wish I would have done this sooner! My surgery was done at the Two Twelve Surgery Center in Chaska. My experience there and throughout this entire process has been wonderful. Thank you to Dr. Meyer, Cara, Sommer, Andrea (RN from the Surgery Center) and Donica (EXCEL Program coordinator), and team for the excellent care that I have received. I am truly grateful.

I had was thrilled that my anterior hip replacement went so well! I had a posterior hip replacement in 2020 and needed to have the other hip done in 2023. I opted to have an anterior procedure this time and was extremely happy with the results. I had very little pain, which Tylenol handled well. Everyone was surprised how well I was moving around shortly after the surgery. Recovery has been much easier than with the posterior approach. Dr. Owen O’Neill is amazing. He explains everything ahead of time and what to expect. His team of nurses and staff are the very best and the EXCEL Program was definitely the way to go!

Dr. Szalapski has been injecting my arthritic thumb for two years now. I thought I was going to have to give up golf and gardening but Dr. Szalapski encouraged me to try the injection. I was petrified to get a shot in a very small and sensitive joint but it was a very small price to pay for the reward of being able to get back to doing so many things that I enjoy. In June of 2019 Dr. Davis performed surgery to correct a herniated disc that I had been dealing with for three years. When I first started seeing Dr. Davis, the thought of having surgery terrified me. The entire team at TCO delivered exceptional care and made sure that I was comfortable with my treatment plan every step of the way. Since having surgery, I no longer have back pain. Dr. Davis gave me my life back and I would absolutely recommend him and his team to anyone dealing with back issues.
