I have been going to Dr. Holmes for years. He has given me cortisone shots, when necessary, for extreme pain on separate knees multiple times. I had one knee replaced 3 years ago and the other is now getting worse but we are trying to avoid surgery. Holmes is absolutely, hands-down the best shot giver I have ever encountered. He listens and provides alternative solutions with thorough explanations before we proceed. Even his assistant, Deanna, is top notch and a great listener. His sensitivity and shot-giving techniques are A+. It feels great! Wow!

I spent my junior year of high school in constant pain because of my shoulder injury. I saw several doctors to get help with the pain and tried everything from physical therapy, acupuncture and massage. My shoulder pain continued to get worse. I got to the point that I could not concentrate at school because of the pain and I had to quit basketball. With cortisone shots I was able to play softball but I was still in significant pain. After the platelet rich plasma (PRP) injection, I was soon able to get the full range of motion back in my shoulder. I am fully enjoying my senior year pain-free. I am 3 weeks into the softball season and still completely pain free in my shoulder. I wish I would have had the PRP injection much sooner. Thank you, Dr. Holmes!

My husband has suffered with Parkinson’s Disease since he was 44 years old. The constant shaking for 13 years has damaged his knee and shoulder joints, causing extreme pain. He is not a surgical candidate and refuses all opioid pain meds. Dr. Holmes injects his joints a few times a year, which has enabled my husband to still enjoy fishing and hunting. Thank you Dr. Holmes!

After a hockey injury left her with chronic knee pain, Rebecca sought treatment with Dr. Nicholas Holmes of Twin Cities Orthopedics. She underwent a PRP (plasma-rich platelet) injection and was able to recover from her pain completely. As Rebecca puts it, “Twin Cities Orthopedics took my pain away.”
