Dr. Kneeland manages adult patients with complex autoimmune diseases, such as connective tissue disease, vasculitis, inflammatory arthropathies, and crystalline arthritis. She enjoys building long-term relationships with patients, and work towards improving their health, wellness, and mobility. Dr. Kneeland tries to meet patients on their level and believes being a good listener is paramount in diagnosing and managing complex autoimmune diseases. She often spends time educating patients on their disease, management options, and expectations. Shared decision making is something Dr. Kneeland embraces with all her patients.
Rheumatology, including connective tissue diseases (lupus, Sjogren’s, MCTD, myositis, scleroderma), crystalline arthritis (gout, pseudogout), inflammatory arthritis (rheumatoid, psoriatic, JIA), vasculitis, musculoskeletal ultrasound, joint injections, and arthrocentesis
Dr. Kneeland does not manage chronic pain, chronic lyme, long COVID-19/long haul COVID-19, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, hypermobility syndromes, chronic fatigue syndrome (myalgic encephalomyelitis), non-inflammatory spine problems (degenerative arthritis of the spine, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease). She is able to help establish the diagnosis of fibromyalgia but does not manage it long term.
