I would give Dr. Michael Nemanich five stars! I cannot tell you how relieved and thankful I am for the excellent care I received from him and his incredible team! I highly recommend him. I had been suffering from right hip pain for over a year, which progressively got worse. I am 66 years old and had just retired. My hip arthritis prevented me from doing all of the activities I loved to do; play with my grandchildren, play pickleball, go for hikes, long walks and dancing. I saw Dr. Michael Nemanich and selected him to do my surgery after a thorough review of his exceptional credentials and reviews. Dr. M. Nemanich and his team took such great care of me from admission to discharge and post-op.

My procedure was done through their EXCEL program which is a BEST IN PRACTICE process for joint replacements. It has been fine tuned to provide patients with the best outcome and best experience. It is like a well-oiled machine. There was not one blip in the entire procedure. From the friendly gal that admitted me, to the wonderful and caring surgical nurses, to the recovering nurses at the post op-care suites, I felt so cared for. The care suites were like a upscale hotel! I am now two months post-op and I am back to working out at the gym and walking almost two miles a day, with no cane, no pain, and I’m playing with my grandchildren again. Pickleball is right around the corner too. Thank you Dr. Michael Nemanich, the staff at TCO and the staff at the Care Suites. You’re awesome!

Dr. Anseth replaced both of my hips, my second hip replacement was done in April 2022. I am a pheasant hunt guide in the fall and this was the first year I was able to it pain free! I had 22 hunts in October and walked 167 miles through tall thick grass and cover! There’s no way I would have been able to do this without Dr. Anseth’s help. He and the whole TCO crew were amazing to work with!

I began having chronic ankle pain two years ago and noticed that I was frequently rolling the ankle with normal daily activities. I saw Dr. Engasser and Tiffany to figure out what was wrong and my treatment options. After conservative management for a year, I decided to pursue surgery to repair a torn ligament. Dr. Engasser is kind, compassionate, and a skilled surgeon. I also appreciate his joyful demeanor. I spend time with doctors as part of my job and I will say that Dr. Engasser stands out as one of the very best providers that I come into contact with. I’d see him again if the need arises and highly recommend his team to anyone.

Dr. O’Neill is clearly skilled and devoted to the best care he can deliver to his clients. I have suffered for many years with hip pain. I used anti-inflammatories and excellent physical therapy to get me through many decades of pain and mild disability. I was very, very devoted and determined to avoid surgery but alas, it was the answer. Dr. O’Neill was the first provider to identify that I have congenital hip dysplasia! He was very conscientious and attentive to my concerns and questions. In addition, his staff was excellent, responding quickly to all concerns. I was well prepared for surgery by them and well cared for post-op. I am a nurse myself and I recommend him highly! In addition, the nursing care I received at Fairview Southdale was top notch, even as they were very short staffed. Kudos!

I wanted to reach out to say thank you to Dr. Johnson and give him an update on my left knee. His last-ditch insistence and guidance to increase my Allopurinol dosage before proceeding with an unnecessary scope seems to have addressed a problem that was having a huge negative impact on my life. Dr. Johnson is a true professional and someone I will absolutely go back to with any future issues if they occur. He was always very transparent, honest, positive, patient, and understanding with the care he provided. Thanks again for the great care provided by Dr. Johnson and the TCO staff.

I had my left knee replaced a little over a year ago. I could not be more satisfied! I have no pain or limitation. Yesterday I walked all 18 holes golfing. I would highly recommend Dr. O’Neill to anyone who is having knee problems.

I have been under the care of Dr. Lewis and Libby Witchger, PA-C for several years with knee issues. I had a very busy life for a long time and surgery was not in the cards, so I had several cortisone shots to both knees that served me well. However, both Dr. Lewis and Libby knew the correct answer all along and were very supportive in my decision. The time came where the cortisone shots didn’t last and the pain caused my lifestyle to change drastically.

Libby would listen to me and always be so supportive in helping me walk through this. She was incredibly patient. Everything they said that would happen, did happen. My knee just couldn’t get me through the day anymore. I’ll be honest, I was somewhat in fear of the surgery itself which was a huge factor for me. I was so grateful knowing I had Dr. Lewis and Libby doing the surgery. The surgery, the tremendous support (throughout all these years) and after care was absolutely amazing. I could not have asked for better care. I will always be grateful for all that these two have done for me. Eventually the other knee will have to be replaced and I will have no reservations the second time around and hope to have the same team again. Thank you Dr. Lewis and Libby. You are amazing!

I want to tell you how great I think Dr. Engasser is as a specialist in orthopedics. He is the most confident in what he does. I have referred him to many people for issues they have. He is very professional and down to earth with his patients. He explains things so you can understand him perfectly. TCO is very lucky to have him. I thank him for taking care of the pain in both of my ankles.

Dr. Banks was excellent when our 14 year old daughter had to have spinal fusion and decompression. He made sure she was taken care of and did an awesome job. We are very grateful for him and now our daughter wants to be a doctor herself. Thanks Dr. Banks!

I  lived with knee pain for at least 74 years. The past 5 years have been really bad. I finally decided to do something about it. I can’t thank the staff at TCO and Dr. Arntson enough for changing my life. I had a total knee replacement 6 weeks ago and what a difference it has made! I can now go up and down flights of stairs normally. Long walks and talks with my husband are a daily treat, since before I really couldn’t walk due to the pain. I can walk the aisles at the grocery store. Cooking recipes that require over 5 minutes to cook are a pleasure since I can stand to make them.

However, most importantly, I can be the grandma my grandchildren deserve and love. I only missed 3 weeks of babysitting due to surgery. Those first hugs when I returned were worth it. This surgery was life changing for me. I only wish I would have done it sooner.
