Unfortunately our daughter slipped on the ice and took a spill. We went to a local hospital and she was misdiagnosed for about 2 weeks. They gave us a boot and told us everything would be fine. We were lucky enough to talk to a friend who recommended TCO as a second opinion, as we felt a little uneasy about her pain level and progress. Once we did, they recognized right away that it was a tri-fracture and she needed to get emergency attention.

Dr. Engasser took on our daughter as a patient right away and saw her the next day. He was able to reset her foot and start the healing process. 8 months later she has no effects from the tri-facture. We are so thankful for his quick, decisive, and informed actions. He talked with his colleagues, he talked with us, and he made us feel confident about every step of the way. Again, I will never go to another place for my orthopedic needs. Had we stayed the course and didn’t seek out a second opinion at TCO, she would be walking with a limp. Instead she’s playing basketball with her friends right now.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at TCO. My kids are getting older (10 & 12) and more active. There have been a few times over the past 6 months where they hurt themselves playing sports and we weren’t sure if it needed additional treatment or not. TCO was efficient, affordable and we didn’t have to wait a crazy amount of time to be seen. They were thoroughly examined and we were given peace of mind of an action plan moving forward. TCO has now become our go-to for urgent care active related injuries.

My hip replacement experience was made so much easier with the information I received prior to the surgery. The guidebook for hips was so informative and useful. I followed all of the steps needed before and after surgery, which made everything go so smoothly. Doing the physical therapy before and after surgery made healing go so fast as well. Being 75 years old I thought the recovery would take a long time but 18 days after surgery, I am walking without the use of a walker or cane. I truly believe all of the information I received contributed to my fast recovery. I can’t thank Dr. Morgenstern and TCO enough.

Dr. Schmiesing replaced both of my hips this year. He’s kind, compassionate, and he listens. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I had little to no pain after surgery and no complications. I’m excited to be pain free and have my life back again. Thank you!

Last year I had a hip replacement with Dr. Chris Meyer and it was one of the best things I ever did. To add to that, my left knee had actually been bothering me for longer than my hip. Because I had such a great experience with Dr. Meyer, his staff, the staff at Two Twelve Surgery Center and the EXCEL Program, I decided to bite the bullet and have my left knee replaced.

One of my passions is golf, so I needed to time the surgery and recovery to take place before summer and a spring break golf trip. I had the surgery on January 18, which went really well. I followed the doctor’s orders to a “T” and by the time our Spring Break trip rolled around, I was ready to hit the links! As a matter of fact, I golfed 144 holes in one week and got my FIRST HOLE IN ONE only 9 1/2 short weeks after my surgery! The smile in the pic attached says it all. I cannot thank Dr. Meyer and all involved for the care I received. I highly recommend them. They are the BEST!

I have been struggling with arthritis in my knee for over 7 years. The pain had steadily increased and was impacting my ability to enjoy many of the activities in my life. I was nervous about knee surgery and waited as long as I could to get it fixed. My experience with Dr. Kelly, his team and everyone at TCO has been outstanding. From the first visit, I could tell that this facility and the people on the team were top notch. Appointments, communication, scheduling, surgery and recovery were all handled with great attention to detail and professionalism. The surgery and recovery have gone great. I’m not yet at 3 months from surgery and I am back to enjoying golf and all the activities I love to do. Zero old knee pain! My strength and pain free flexibility have returned. Cliché, but I should have had this procedure done 3 or 4 years ago. My thanks to Dr. Kelly and his whole team! I strongly recommend them.

Dr. Mittelsteadt and his team were amazing! He helped me get through the pain in my ankle until I was ready for surgery. The surgery went even better than expected and only four months later, I am virtually pain free. I would definitely recommend both TCO and Dr. Mittelsteadt.

I went to my local emergency room when I hurt my back and then discovered TCO had an Orthopedic Urgent Care. That could have saved me so much time and pain. The first time I met with Dr. Omar I felt like someone understood the exact pain I had been feeling. He looked over the imaging that had been sent to him and he explained what the diagnosis was and how to treat it. After I agreed to surgery, it was a smooth process. Dr. Omar’s assistant, Matt, was right there with the steps I needed to have done before the surgery. After the process was over Dr. Omar came to explain how it went and what my recovery should be. From the moment I walked into TCO, I felt like a person and not a number. I have been recommending to TCO for any and all orthopedic needs. I know if anything happens in the future I will be back. I thank all the staff that I have encountered for being amazing and understanding!

I have been struggling with hip pain for over a decade. I saw a provider who told me I was too young for a hip replacement and recommended physical therapy instead. That didn’t work, and actually made the pain worse since I had dysplasia and a bone spur that was contributing to the pain. Six years later (at age 44) I was limping around my friend’s cabin and we started talking about what I could do to fix the problem. It turns out another friend’s husband recently had his hip replaced and was very happy with the results. His surgeon was Dr. Owen O’Neill, so I asked my primary for a referral. As soon as Dr. O’Neill saw my X-ray, he said “I can fix that”. I was so relieved to hear him say that a hip replacement did not have to wait until I was 50 as I was so tired of being in massive pain almost every day. Three months later I had the surgery done and I have not had any pain since. It was truly a life changing event. I can walk now without pain, and have started working out again. I can actually do squats lower than I have been able to in many years! I’m looking forward to a summer running around outside with my kids too. The healing has been fantastic. I couldn’t be happier!
