I consulted two previous orthopedic surgeons, both of whom informed me that I had an irreparable rotator cuff. My next physician consult was from Dr. Hunt, who was confident that he could repair my shoulder with a “cuff cap” that consisted of donor tissue. The surgery went very well and he was also able to repair the bicep tendon that was torn completely. It has been five months since surgery and the recovery has been excellent. I have gained 95% of my shoulder movement, my strength is increasing and I have had no pain for a long time now. Dr. Hunt is an excellent surgeon, likable, and definitely listened to my concerns. I would not hesitate to go back to him if I needed another surgery. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Greg Lervick is a phenomenon. He repaired my right shoulder, which was constantly dislocating, in 2011. Rebuilt labrum and moved rotator cuff into position and it’s been absolutely perfect. Recently he repaired my left shoulder and, while I’m still in rehab, I am confident the results will be equally great. He’s the only surgeon I’d trust my shoulders to. Hopefully, I won’t need to find out how he is at elbows or anything else, but my trust would be 100% if I did!

If you have the unfortunate diagnosis of “Frozen Shoulder”, schedule a hydroplasty procedure with Dr. Allan Hunt. I was diagnosed in about 10 minutes and had an appointment for the hydroplasty 2 weeks later. After some initially pretty painful physical therapy sessions, I am completely cured! I suffered for 3 months with no shoulder mobility, sleep disturbance because of the aching joint and shooting pains when I moved too abruptly. The second day after my procedure, I was back in yoga class! I couldn’t be happier with the results. It’s absolutely amazing. I’ve had friends that are messing around with cortisone shots and therapy and getting nowhere. Don’t wait any longer in miserable pain – get the procedure done! You will be so happy you did.

Dr. Szalapski has replaced both of my knees and one tendon repair for my shoulder. He has also replaced both hips and a knee for my wife. Her other knee is set for replacement next month! The results of each of these surgeries have been quite rewarding, with NO complications. I would highly recommend considering Dr. Szalapski for any surgeries that involve a joint repair or replacement. A no nonsense Dr. that will give you the facts without the pressure to proceed.

At 31 years of age, I tore my biceps at the beginning of my 13th season playing rugby. I had surprisingly never suffered a major injury before. I’ll never quit playing sports, and I knew I needed to find an experienced surgeon to sew me back together. Dr. Kelly was able to operate within 72 hours of my injury. I literally cannot recommend him enough. He and PA-C Lindsey Anderson are simply the best. They were professional, efficient and caring.

I followed his treatment plan and was back to lifting weights within a few months. Now, less than a year post-op, I am returning to national-level sport competition. My arm is stronger than ever and his experience and skill are the reason.

If you suffer any kind of sporting injury to your upper extremities, Dr. Edward Kelly is the surgeon to see. Period.

Dr. Hess is an extraordinary surgeon! He performed both my surgeries and they were 100% successful. His superb skills were evident in this surgery as I am now close to complete range of motion. He made special efforts to increase the intensity of my therapy when I reached a plateau where my shoulders were becoming stiffer. He continued to follow my progress through therapy until it was complete. I have to compliment Dr. Hess on his professionalism and complete attention to my needs and progress at every office visit. He always made my visits seem to be his first priority with his complete attention during the exams. It has been less than a year since my last surgery and I hope to reach complete range of motion in the next few months. I am so happy I found Dr. Hess as I accredit him to a superb surgery and recovery. I would strongly recommend Dr. Hess to anyone who is in need of his surgical skills and aftercare.

Dr. Kelly did an amazing job of repairing torn biceps and rotator cuff tendons. His diagnosis was quick and accurate, and all went smoothly through pre-op, surgery, recovery, and PT. Dr. Kelly’s team of Kaici, Lindsey, and Kayla provided excellent support and advice throughout. The Fairview Ridges surgery experience was the best hospital experience I have had in 65 years — thank you to all the caring nurses who even sent me a card! Finally, Annie at TCO Physical Therapy worked with me pre- and post-surgery to get me healed and stronger than I have been in years. I actually slept through the night last night for the first time in weeks! You injected my shoulder and that is what I needed! I couldn’t believe it when I looked at the clock and it was 8:00am! I was waking up between 2:00-3:00am every night and not sleeping well.
