Visited TCO in late November 2019 and saw Dr. Hunt for a sore shoulder. I thought it was related to an old rotor cuff repair but instead was a wore out joint. I had the shoulder replacement done 12/11/19 and was home in one day. Other than the surgical block I needed no other pain meds. Dr. Hunt and the EXCEL Program were great.

From the first phone call to make an appointment EVERYONE was friendly, helpful and compassionate. I’m 80 years of age and needed a reverse shoulder replacement. Dr. Mair and his staff took the extra time to discuss my options and ultimately let me make the decision. Although this was not HIS first time doing shoulder surgery, it was MY first time and I felt he took all the time I needed to answer questions and reassure me that all would go well… and it DID! He, the hospital staff, everyone was so caring and understanding. My daughter went to the cafeteria to get lunch and a hospital staff person, that was in line behind her, paid for her lunch! So when I say everyone, I mean everyone 🙂 I cannot say enough about Dr. Jeffery Mair, and everyone who works with him, for their wonderful care and thoughtfulness. I will definitely recommend this doctor and this facility to anyone I know that needs his expertise! Thank you SO much! I’m glad it’s all done and I can start my physical therapy and look forward to having a pain free shoulder.

It has been approximately 5 years since Dr. Szalapski performed surgery on my right shoulder. My shoulder feels great. I am now having trouble with my left shoulder. I now live 2 hours away from TCO in Edina. It is well worth the drive for me to have Dr. Szalapski, Jessica, and his whole team be there for my left shoulder.

Although I am still in the early stages of total recovery (10 weeks), I’m amazed at how well the surgery by Dr. Kelly and recovery have gone. Surgery pain was quick to subside (within days) and the shoulder pain (bone on bone + bone spurs) was totally gone immediately. Very thankful and pleased with the elimination of the day to day pain. By following PT plans, I’ve been able to notice constant improvement of restoring mobility and strength. Both are already much better than before the surgery and getting better every day. Can’t wait to get the other one fixed too. THANKS!

Prior to my shoulder surgery with Dr. Christopher Meyer, I was not able to use my right arm at all. Instead, I was using a sling to keep from moving it at all to avoid the extra pain that came with it. After my surgery, I was able to go back to my everyday life and use both arms again!

Dr. Kelly is an incredible expert in shoulder surgery in my opinion. His team is so knowledgeable and understanding.

I am able to sleep at night on my left side without pain. I continue my PT exercises daily by myself, and feel they have helped tremendously in my complete recovery. Though I am right-handed, I can do more with my left arm than I can with my right arm. I am looking forward to having surgery on my right shoulder this coming spring/summer.

Excellent work by Dr. Meyer and his team. I am very satisfied with my recovery plan and look forward to strengthening my shoulder. All of my goals have been met and an excellent result from procedure.

Want to thank Dr. Szalapski for his great care of my rotator cuff issue in my shoulder. He’s a magician with a cortisone shot, bringing me great relief the few times I’ve been to see him.  Highly recommend this caring and professional Dr.

I met Dr. Szalapski and had my first hip replaced at 42 years old – scared to death! It went perfectly and no limp. I had my knee replaced at around 50 years old and my other hip done a year later. Last year, I had my shoulder replaced and was told I may only get 70% of my range of motion back – I got 100%. I would never think of anybody but Dr. Szalapski to perform my surgeries when I have had the best care and absolutely no complications!! His support team and Jessica are the best also! Bonus he has a good sense of humor.
