I am so thankful for Dr. Conner doing a successful surgery to replace my worn out left hip in August, 2017. Also with this surgery, he was able to lengthen my life-long short left leg. His knowledge and skills for this surgery have brought me freedom from pain and mobility for my daily activities. Now one year following the surgery, I am able to be out planting flowers and help mow our yard. I am also thankful for his referral for physical therapy to help my body adjust to the changes from surgery.

Thanks to Shawn and all her work to set up the surgery and answer questions.

This was my second surgery with Dr. Conner. I am pleased with my treatment and care, and will continue seeing him for my orthopedic concerns.

I inherited bunions at 63 years old and was no longer sleeping at night, due to the pain of walking on them all day. I consulted with Dr. Coetzee and showed him a picture of my mom’s non-corrected bunions (to show him where I was headed). There wasn’t much more discussion and a surgery date was set. Upon my return home, my grown kids felt I would not get a good results and I might be better off living with my current feet. Three weeks later, I had a bilateral bunionectomy, as well as a bunionette surgery and a hammer toe corrected. My surgery was really pretty painless. I slept better the first night after surgery than I had slept for years. I am now 10 weeks post op, in my normal shoes, almost finished with my PT, and pretty much walking normally. I look at my new feet and can’t believe they are mine. They might not look gorgeous to you, but they are beautiful to me. I thank my friend for recommending Dr. Coetzee!

I am a three-sport athlete and two-sport captain at Farmington High School. I was playing club soccer last June when I tore my ACL. It was a devastating injury for me, as I was transitioning into my senior soccer season. I knew I wouldn’t be able to make it back in time to play soccer. My challenge was learning how to be a captain and a leader, while on the sidelines. A couple days after I tore my ACL, my mindset changed from devastated to determined. I was determined to make it back for the end of my season. I was determined to still make an impact as captain in hockey and soccer, and I was determined to inspire others through my recovery.

I quickly learned that leadership was not about ability on the field or rink, it was about how I was able to support my team through adversity and victory. I became the biggest cheerleader and the biggest supporter of my teammates. I was at every practice and every game. And while I could not lead by my ability in my sports, I realized that I could inspire others by how hard I was willing to work to recover. Day in and day out I was at the HAUS recovering with Mike. If I wasn’t at practice with the team, I was at the gym recovering my quad strength. I returned to full contact hockey 7 months after my injury on our “senior night”. Our hockey team then went right into playoffs, where I helped lead our team to the state tournament. I was extremely blessed to then be awarded with the Herb Brooks Award, which is a character award after one of the greates hockey figures ever that came from MN. One girl and one guy wins this award once a year.

Honestly I most likely would not have one this award if it I did not go through what I went through. Getting injured and having to sit on the sidelines taught me more than flying through my senior season ever would have. In more ways than one, I’m grateful for what I went through and everyone that helped me through it.

Back in August I fully ruptured my patellar tendon playing volleyball. I started working with Tegan Nelson shortly after having surgery to repair it. Tegan was wonderful, working with me to bend my knee and staying supportive throughout the entire process. This includes a 2nd surgery to deal with scar tissue that was holding back my rehab. She not only helped me bend my knee, she played a crucial role in my mental health helping me stay positive so I would continue to work hard.

Thank you so much for all you help during this journey!

Dr. Michael Nemanich is a perfect example of how excellent pre-op teaching, operative procedure and post-op care all go together. I had absolutely no problems with my knee replacement at any stage of care. I never had any pain and rehab was excellent because I didn’t have pain to contend with. I salute you Dr. Nemanich and thank you with my whole heart.

Being only 53, I assumed I should wait out the pain in my knee, until I ‘was older’. Dr. Chris Meyer asked me an important question, ‘immobile now, or worry about being immobile at 83?’. I signed up for the surgery as soon as we could work out the details! The care has been top notch, the recommendations were spot on and follow up was fantastic!! Now at 5 months out, instead of rating my pain with every step, I have an occasional sense of fullness in my knee. It’s still healing for a year, but best move ever! Thank you all, TCO!

Dr. Michael Nemanich and his team (Josh, Sarah, Jenna) far exceeded my expectations. Through three years of conservative treatment for an arthritic knee and subsequent total knee replacement, I was always treated with respect and caring, offered options, and included in my treatment plan.

My surgery, hospitalization, and therapy were seamless and successful. I am grateful to be pain-free and active thanks to my surgeon’s expertise and experience.

If you are considering a knee replacement and are seeking a skilled and compassionate surgeon, Dr. Michael Nemanich is the perfect choice.

After meeting with Dr. Conner to discuss knee replacement I felt very comfortable. Dr. Conner took the time to explain the procedure and what to expect after surgery. Dr. Conner’s patient coordinator Shawn is the best. I had the surgery November 2, 2018 and nine weeks later I’m in Hawaii walking 6-8 miles a day even hiking across lava flows pain free. Thank you Dr. Conner for helping me do the things I enjoy.

Couldn’t ask for a better team. I would recommend Dr. Peter Sanders and his PA, Matthew Bennett, to anyone.
