After meeting with Dr. Conner to discuss knee replacement I felt very comfortable. Dr. Conner took the time to explain the procedure and what to expect after surgery. Dr. Conner’s patient coordinator Shawn is the best. I had the surgery November 2, 2018 and nine weeks later I’m in Hawaii walking 6-8 miles a day even hiking across lava flows pain free. Thank you Dr. Conner for helping me do the things I enjoy.

I recently had a total knee replacement through Twin Cities Orthopedic and the EXCEL Surgery & Recovery program. My surgeon was Dr. Zachary Arntson, I could not be any happier with the results. I was so scared to do this surgery but it had to be done. I could not walk without being in a lot of pain. Dr. Arntson was compassionate, very informative and really listened to my concerns. After 5 weeks I am going back to work, It feels so good to be able to walk without pain. If you are thinking about doing a surgery soon I highly recommend meeting with Dr. Arntson you will not be disappointed.

I am able to feel less stress because the new knee feels good. I enjoy golfing and I am able to play as often as I want/can. A better quality of life for sure. Thank you TCO and Dr. Meyer.

My daughter Emily sustained an injury during basketball. We called TCO to get an appointment, and were able to be seen almost immediately. We first met with Fred, who genuinely showed compassion to Emily, and made her feel comfortable. He took the time to discuss the process which was about to take place to evaluate, and eventually treat the injury. We then met with Dr. Cole. He talked to Emily in a way which made her understand what was taking place, and kept her at ease. It was determined that Emily did have a fracture, and the TCO team went into action creating a plan. The care coordination was extraordinary. We met on regular intervals with Dr. Cole and his care team. Fred often followed up, in between visits, to understand our progress. I called Fred with questions, and received timely responses. The overall experience was fantastic. I know where will be will coming, should an event like this take place in the future.

I had a wonderful experience with TCO, especially Dr. Meyer and his team. I have shared my shoulder surgery experience and referred other people looking for an Orthopedic Surgeon.

I had a left hip replacement in August of 2017 and a right hip replacement in August of 2018. Both were done by Dr. Brian O’Neill using the anterior approach. I can’t say enough about how great the results were. I refused pain meds after the second one because I had recovered so quickly after the first one. Never needed anything but Tylenol/Ibuprofen. I didn’t need a cane after either procedure. I am in my late 60’s so I was excited about the results and that I could do so well so fast! I have recommended him to everyone who approaches me about hip replacement.

After research, I made an appointment with Dr. Owen O’Neill for a consult regarding a knee replacement. After my first visit, I knew he was the one I wanted to perform the surgery. He took the time to go over and explain the x-rays; he used the model of the knee to explain the procedure and even though he had a long waiting list, we scheduled the surgery and I am glad I did. The whole process through TCO was excellent. From the staff at the Crosstown Surgery Center in Edina, to the follow up care at Aurora, to Dr. O’Neill’s care coordinator, Ann. They made sure I was aware of everything before and after my surgery and were there to answer any questions I had about the process and my recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Owen O’Neill and will use him again for any future orthopedic needs.

I first met Dr. Murar in the Fairview Southdale Hospital ER in early February of 2018. My husband brought me in after a fall that resulted in a traumatic injury to my shoulder. Dr. Murar explained the extent and seriousness of my injury and that because of the type of fracture, he recommended a reverse total shoulder replacement. He offered me support and encouragement in the face of such a big surgery.

My family told me how generous Dr. Murar was with his time when he met with them after surgery. He made sure that they had all their questions answered and he did not seem in a hurry. My daughter was impressed at how encouraged I was after talking through everything with Dr. Murar in the ER. Clearly, Dr. Murar is able to communicate in a difficult and serious situation and help his patients understand the best plan for the best outcome.

Throughout my recovery I always felt that Dr. Murar was available and accessible if I had questions or concerns. This was especially important to me during the early days of my recovery, I never felt like I was left to myself to try to figure things out. The entire TCO team – Dr. Murar along with care coordinator Kelly, TCO physical therapists Kevin and Nate gave me the support, guidance and tools that I needed to keep making progress.

Today I am almost at the one year mark since my surgery and I am strong and have returned to a full and active lifestyle, spending time with my husband, children, grandchildren and friends.

I am very grateful for what Dr. Murar has done for me and I highly recommend Dr. Murar to anyone who has an orthopedic need.
