Great job by Dr. Ockuly’s team! I am one week out from hip surgery and have no pain in the joint. I am walking and bending with no issue. The surgery went well. His team answered all of my questions and took time to make sure I did not leave with any unanswered questions, and I do ask a lot of them! I only use one crutch outside since it’s winter and I don’t want to slip. I am walking inside without any aids, although I still grab the side rails going up and down stairs just in case. Overall, they did a great job using modern techniques and tools. TCO, Dr. Ockuly, Anne, Dani, and team made the top list and were absolutely the right choice for me.

Dr. Edward Szalapski is absolutely amazing. I have been going to him since 2004. My husband and sister have also had numerous surgeries performed by him. His care team Jessica, Joe (retired now), and Tracy are the best in the business. They all work together so well and treat all patients with the utmost respect. Dr. Szalapski also has a great bedside manner and tells it like it is. He is very thorough with what will be done, expected recovery time, and long-term prognosis. He truly cares about you, the patient, not about lining his pocketbook. If you are in need of an Orthopedic Surgeon, look no further. Dr. Szalapski will take great care of you.

Dr. Schmiesing provided excellent care from start to finish. He was sure I understood everything by the time I left each appointment and I never had doubt in the process. Dr. Schmiesing performed a successful surgery and even though we weren’t sure what he would find, he persevered what he could and made sure I came out of that surgery with the repair I needed. My recovery was as expected. His care team continued to follow-up and provide remedies as I needed them. Zach and Sydney also provided excellent care and were sure to return calls in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend Dr. Andrew Schmiesing and his team for your needs. I feel like a new person! I started experiencing pain in my hip, which led to tingles and numbness down my left leg. The pain was often so severe I could hardly walk, use stairs, sit or stand for more than a minute or two. It turns out I had a herniated disc. Dr. Omar was the only surgeon I met with, and I was immediately impressed by his energy, knowledge on the issue, and what it would take to fix it. My surgery went very well with zero issues, and I experienced immediate relief. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Omar and his team, including his assistant Julia who was very responsive and helpful with scheduling and insurance questions.

Dr. Harris performed L4-5 spinal fusion in December 2022. I want to thank him for a great post-op experience. I am very thankful for the pain relief he has provided me. I have been very cautious but the progress has been above my expectations. Thank you for finally giving me hope of an active life again. As I contemplated the prospect of a total knee replacement, I knew that I had to place my trust in the skillset of the surgeon. As patients we basically surrender to the process and hope for the best possible outcome. I decided on the surgery because my knee pain after exertion was limiting my ability to do the things I loved. My experience with Dr. Dieterle has proven to be transformational. I am 9 weeks post-surgery and my new knee is functioning at a high level. I am walking and biking for 1-2 hours is back in my routine. I was referred to Dr. Lewis by my chiropractor and my primary physician, who evaluated my sore hip. Dr. Lewis reviewed my hip and found that I have osteoarthritis (bone on bone). He recommended that I have hip replacement surgery (THA). That is not something I wanted to do, but he guided me through the process, alternatives, result of surgery successes and life changes due to it. Needless to say, it was something that needed to be done for my quality of life. Dr. Lewis and his team guided me through the preparation, recommendations for making my recovery easier, and what surgery would entail. Dr. Lewis performed the surgery with zero complications for me. After a few days of pain relievers and Tylenol, I was up and walking. I no longer had the pain I lived with for the previous 6 months.
