I had torn my meniscus last spring and put up with the pain and put off surgery for almost 8 months. Finally less than two weeks before I was scheduled to go to Peru and visit the ruins of Machu Picchu I decided to go in and have Dr. Heikes scope my knee. The surgery was easier than I anticipated and Dr. Heikes trimmed off the frayed edge of my meniscus as well as removed some floating cartilage. 12 days after surgery I was in Peru climbing Huayna Picchu and to my delight I was pain free. This is considered one of the 20 most dangerous hikes in the world. Thank you Dr. Heikes!

I have waited too long to do this, but I feel I now must. I want to thank Dr. Hunt for the care I received during my total knee replacement. Dr. Heikes and her team at Twin Cities Orthopedics provided me ‘top notch’ orthopedic care. With her cutting edge surgical training I had minimal pain and swelling with major knee ligament reconstruction. My scar is hardly visible! I have now been able to return to all my sports without limits or worries. Thanks!

Both before and after I had my ACL replaced, I had and continue to have physical therapy through TCO. I can’t believe what a difference it is making. The therapists are incredibly knowledgeable, encouraging and effective. They helped get me ready for the surgery and then they have been with me post-surgery to help manage the pain and make the healing process go faster. I can’t imagine not having their support, so I sing their much deserved praises.

I recommend Dr. Scott Anseth to everyone I know that has knee problems. I had replacements of both knees 5 years ago, have no pain. I play softball year-round. It has changed my life as far as activities and moving around.

Dr. Meyer came highly recommended from a friend, and I was very pleased with the care I received from him for my ACL reconstruction surgery. He and his team were very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process, and displayed genuine concern for me. The surgery was a success and I feel much better, plus I am able to get back to my physical activities once again.

Going into my TKR I was nervous but could barely walk and desperately needed the surgery. Dr. Lewis and Libby were fabulous! Dr. Kruse is an excellent surgeon, who carries out double knee replacements in one operation. His expertise and professionalism coupled with a very caring attitude resulted in an excellent outcome. This has changed my life allowing me to do things which I have not been able do for 10 years. I now have no knee pain or discomfort. I cannot praise Dr. Kruse and his team more highly. I would have no difficulty on recommending to Dr. Kruse and his team to anyone considering replacement knee surgery.
