TCO’s Dr. Christopher Meyer did a total knee replacement surgery on me in June. He and his team did such an amazing job, and the outcome of that surgery was so good that when my other knee started to cause me a lot of pain, I did not hesitate to have Dr. Meyer do a total knee replacement on that one.

I had the privilege of having this surgery at the new Orthopedic Institute on Ridgeview’s Chaska Campus. I chose Dr. Meyer because he did a total knee replacement on my wife five years ago, and she had a great experience and outcome. I have numerous family members and friends that also have great things to say about him. Thank you, Dr. Meyer and your whole team, that took care of me before, during, and after my surgery. I appreciate all the kindness that was shown to me.

I could not have been happier with my surgery, recovery, and especially Dr. Omar. He thoroughly explained the entire procedure and put me at ease with having the surgery. His follow up every day that I was in the hospital was greatly appreciated. I’ve have completed my physical therapy and have absolutely no pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Omar.

I’ve been a patient with TCO since 2015, following four knee replacements. Suffice it to say, I’ve fared less than I expected. Hence the need to come back for additional physical therapy with Deb “the magnificent”, who has been my trusted physical therapist. After my due diligence with Deb, she suggested I visit with Alicia to see if the Back to Basics classes would be a good next step for my knee recovery.

Alicia Barnick is an amazing instructor. She is filled with knowledge, unlimited compassion, and a willingness to listen and find solutions to issues I may experience week to week. I love her classes and look forward to a great workout and the positive environment that Alicia has created for our class. I’ve met some incredible new friends and feel grateful that I get to see Alicia’s smiling face every Monday and Thursday. I cannot express my gratitude enough as I continue to gain strength, confidence, and flexibility. I hold out hope for no knee pain by regular participation in Back to Basics. I tell anyone and everyone about the wonderful benefits I’ve experienced in her classes. I would highly recommend this class to anyone who desires better strength, agility, confidence and movement.

I had a total knee replacement on my left knee in July 2023. Dr. Peterson and his care team are awesome. Jenna answered all of my pre-op questions and worked with my short-term disability provider to get all the paperwork filed for me. Thank you so much Jenna. On the day of my surgery, the staff at M-Health Wyoming were top notch in the care they provided, including the day I spent in the hospital after the surgery. Sending a big thank you to Sara, Nicole, April, Becca, Grace and Caitlin. You made my stay very comfortable.

Lastly, my knee replacement couldn’t have gone better. Dr. Peterson and his team have given me pain free mobility again. It is amazing to be able to walk, do stairs and even jog with absolutely no knee pain. I will say the rehab is difficult. I told my physical therapist, Curt, that I didn’t like him very much. But I now realize that by him pushing me during those sessions it has benefitted me immensely. If you are dealing with knee pain, please STOP. Give Dr. Peterson a call and let him and his staff do what they do best. I guarantee you will not regret the decision!

My previous knee replacement (with another doctor) not only failed, but also damaged my tibia and twisted my leg. It was necessary to place a rod in my leg and repair my femur and tibia to hold the new replacement. My recovery has been faster and less painful than either of my previous knee replacements. I credit Dr. Bircher‘s skill for making my recovery so swift.

I fractured my right ankle in March 2022 while training for the Chicago Marathon. I had a great surgical repair from Dr. Butterfield but that was only the start of the journey. I was non-weight bearing for a number of weeks and had almost no strength or flexibility in my ankle/leg when I started therapy. I had the good fortune to get scheduled with Kristina Withers, DPT. She help me through a difficult recovery journey and I completed the Chicago Marathon in Oct 2023 – whoop! I have worked with a few therapists over the years and I can say confidently that she is truly THE BEST. She provides both excellent care and well laid out recovery plans, but is also really caring for her patients. Thank you Kristina!

Dr. Schmiesing did fantastic work replacing my left hip. He was very friendly, kind, efficient, patient, and thorough. He informed me what to expect, answered all my questions, performed a great operation, and took the time and care for whatever my needs were for the follow up. I couldn’t have asked for better results. I thank him and his staff all very much for their professional care, compassion, and support.

Dr. Edwards was excellent from beginning to end. He was patient and informative, and he explained my situation in a way that was easy to understand. While I did not want to have shoulder surgery, Dr. Edwards explained why it was essential for my quality of life to do so. The surgery was tough, but ultimately it has been very successful. I would recommend Dr. Edwards to anyone who is facing shoulder surgery.

Dr. Saterbak performed bilateral knee replacements in 2016. Thanks to her skill, the quality of my life has been amazing. I am now 76 years old and I am still very active. I have been on numerous scuba diving trips and adventure travels. These have included a trip to the Amazon, the Galápagos Islands and an African Safari. Recently I participated in indoor rock climbing. I’m sure none of these adventures would have been possible without the benefit of her skill as a surgeon. Thank you Dr. Saterbak!
