I am a 72 year old female and had a successful reverse shoulder replacement surgery, performed by Dr. Barry in October 2021. He and his surgery team and the TCO staff were amazing and full of kindness. They listened to my concerns every step of the journey. I went home the same day as the surgery. Every aspect of the prep and surgery was handled in a timely and efficient manner. I felt great at my 6 week checkup. There was minimal pain and lots of arm movement, which I did not have prior to surgery. From the first consultation through my rehab, TCO was amazing. The EXCEL Program made the experience very smooth. Everything was laid out very well and it was easy. Dr. Arntson did an amazing job on my knee. He exceeded all expectations. I had almost no pain in my knee after surgery and the scar is very minimal. Everyday my wife and I are so thankful for TCO and the great doctors and personnel. Both my wife and I had a knee replacement performed by Dr. Comfort and his great team. We are now pain-free and can enjoy doing things without worrying about our ability to walk the distance or climb the stairs. In early 2021 I started having tingling, weakness and pain in my right shoulder/arm. I was referred to TCO by my primary care doctor. My first meeting with Dr. Ridley was amazing. He got to know me has a person. I was never treated like another shoulder/arm case. Dr. Ridley truly listened to everything I had to say and answered all my questions. He was great at explaining everything to me.

He recommend physical therapy and chiropractic care to start. Both seemed to help but I was still having issues with my shoulder. Dr. Ridley didn’t hesitate to get me scheduled for a MRI on my shoulder. That’s when he found the problem, which was a slap tear in my shoulder. Dr. Ridley called me the same day to discuss my MRI results. He walked me through everything, including the results, options and the road ahead. Dr. Ridley and I made the decision that surgery was the best plan of action. He made sure I knew all the positives and negatives that comes along with surgery and what post-surgery would look like.

Dr. Ridley and his team were outstanding before, during and after surgery. I even got pictures of inside my shoulder, which was pretty cool to see. After surgery there was more physical therapy and Dr. Ridley actually read the physical therapist notes. When it came time for my appointments with him, he knew what was going on with my shoulder and where I was at in physical therapy. I felt Dr. Ridley truly cared about how I was doing.

I am not usually one to write a testimonial. However in this case, the care, professionalism, knowledge, and empathy I received from Dr. Bjerke and his staff was truly and utterly amazing! I suffered a knee injury while playing pickleball and saw a physician at an orthopedic clinic that was not TCO. I was told after a review of my MRI, that my knee was “bone on bone” and I needed a full replacement. I am in my late 40’s and have been active my entire life. I was completely shocked by this diagnosis. Upon reiterating this information to a few close friends, I was told by one to reach out to Dr. Anseth at TCO for a second opinion. I did so and to say I was impressed and relieved is an understatement. Dr. Anseth was truly amazing and assured me he would not give up until we figured out the reason for the knee pain I was dealing with.

We started with a cortisone injection and I felt great, unfortunately it was short lived as my knee “gave out” again a few weeks later while walking. I went to TCO Edina Urgent Care and a second MRI was performed. Dr. Anseth called me personally and told me the MRI showed a root tear in my meniscus and that this was a specialized tear and he wanted me to see Dr. Bjerke as soon as possible for further treatment. I immediately made an appointment to see Dr. Bjerke and I can honestly say it was the best decision ever! Dr. Bjerke thoroughly explained the tear, along with his recommendation for surgery.

Dr. Bjerke performed the surgery in June 2021 and I was non-weight bearing for 6 weeks (6 very long weeks but it was well worth it in the end). From the time I first met with Dr. Bjerke, through surgery, and all of my follow up appointments, he has ALWAYS been completely transparent. He was clear about the process, the time frame, the importance of putting in the work with physical therapy, as well as following the PT exercises on my own.

I am 6 months post-surgery and my knee feels amazing! My physical therapists, Dustin S. and Katie G., at TCO Vadnais Heights are the BEST! I could not have done this without them. Their professionalism, encouragement, and positivity was second to none and I am forever grateful to them. With every single encounter I had at TCO, I was treated with the utmost professionalism and genuine compassion – from Dr. Anseth and his care team, to the TCO Urgent Care team, to Dr. Bjerke and his amazing care team, to every single professional on the day of my surgery at TCO, and Dustin S. and Katie G. at TCO Vadnais Heights PT. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Bjerke (and Dr. Anseth) as well as their amazing care teams/surgical teams/and physical therapist teams!

After my shoulder surgery with Dr. Dieterle, the pain is gone that was present for a long time. Physical therapy is crucial to recovery in range of motion and strength. It restored my ability to resume my daily routine.
