Close to two years ago Dr. Heikes performed knee surgery due to knee cartilage damage from a hard impact on my knee.

I was able to begin running and racing one mile to 10 mile races less than a year following the surgery. Dr. Heikes has a gift of listening and explaining in layman’s terms for a clearer understanding of discussions. Good job Dr. Heikes!

Can’t recommend Brooke Deshler more highly. She explained why each thing she asked me to do was necessary and how it benefited my recovery. She held me responsible with kindness and was very knowledgeable in her treatment. Excellent PT!

I had knee revision surgery from Dr. Johnson. He did a fantastic job. I was so pleased with my recovery and how much better I felt compared to the first time around. My care was excellent. He explained everything about the knee surgery, meds to take, PT and what to expect. I would give him a 10 star rating plus he actually comes in your room to sit down and talk to you before and after the surgery. Dr. Johnson and his assistant Karen are the best. Thank you so much!!!

Dr. Vargas recently did a bunion/hammertoe surgery on both of my feet. The outcome of this surgery is even better than what I had hoped for. Dr. Vargas is a very compassionate and caring surgeon. He listens to his patients and provides them with the best care possible. This surgery is allowing me to resume the active lifestyle that I want and I am pain free. I highly recommend Dr. Vargas and his staff.

I saw Dr. Matthew Butterfield who was highly recommended by my cousin, a Vascular Surgeon who only recommends the VERY BEST. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Butterfield. He was professional, caring, and willing to listen. He was so great that he knew exactly what my MRI would most likely say before I even had it done. He was spot on with his diagnosis. He gave me the time I needed away from work to heal as he and I together felt was necessary. I will recommend him to anyone who needs a referral to a great physician. Thank you Dr. Butterfield! I will only see him if I need any future orthopedic needs!!

I am really happy with both my knee replacements. The first one in July 2018 and the second in October 2018. One night stay in Fairview Southdale Hospital, and home for recovery. Started physical therapy 4 days later at TCO Edina. Terrific therapists. Everyone were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I totally recommend TCO, Dr. Owen O’Neill and Jessie Donovan.

I am so thankful for Dr. Conner doing a successful surgery to replace my worn out left hip in August, 2017. Also with this surgery, he was able to lengthen my life-long short left leg. His knowledge and skills for this surgery have brought me freedom from pain and mobility for my daily activities. Now one year following the surgery, I am able to be out planting flowers and help mow our yard. I am also thankful for his referral for physical therapy to help my body adjust to the changes from surgery.

This was my second surgery with Dr. Conner. I am pleased with my treatment and care, and will continue seeing him for my orthopedic concerns.

Back in August I fully ruptured my patellar tendon playing volleyball. I started working with Tegan Nelson shortly after having surgery to repair it. Tegan was wonderful, working with me to bend my knee and staying supportive throughout the entire process. This includes a 2nd surgery to deal with scar tissue that was holding back my rehab. She not only helped me bend my knee, she played a crucial role in my mental health helping me stay positive so I would continue to work hard.

Dr. Michael Nemanich is a perfect example of how excellent pre-op teaching, operative procedure and post-op care all go together. I had absolutely no problems with my knee replacement at any stage of care. I never had any pain and rehab was excellent because I didn’t have pain to contend with. I salute you Dr. Nemanich and thank you with my whole heart.
