I had a 95% tear in a rotator cuff which was severely limiting my activities. Dr. Norberg did the repair in about 1 hour and after about four months of rehab I was able to resume most activities, the most important being golfing with no issues during or after.

Dr. David Holte is an excellent surgeon and the most caring doctor I have ever dealt with. He performed my back surgery in December 2017 and made sure I was taken care of. I was experiencing some pain during the first night after my surgery and when the nursing staff contacted him with a question, he came in to the hospital in the middle of the night to make sure I was okay. During my recovery, he not only took care of me but made sure that my family had everything they needed. He is the only spine doctor I would ever see and would recommend him to anyone looking for the best, most caring spine surgeon.

I was experiencing numbing from waist down! With the diagnosis from Dr. David Holte, surgery was scheduled! He is a very excellent surgeon, along with his staff, Nurse Wendy and Care Coordinator Kim! I would recommend Dr. David Holte to all that have back issues! Thank you for the success of my surgery!

My husband has suffered with Parkinson’s Disease since he was 44 years old. The constant shaking for 13 years has damaged his knee and shoulder joints, causing extreme pain. He is not a surgical candidate and refuses all opioid pain meds. Dr. Holmes injects his joints a few times a year, which has enabled my husband to still enjoy fishing and hunting. I went to my family doctor with a lot of pain in my right hip. He right away referred me to Twin Cities Orthopedics and Dr. Owen O’Neill. He said that if his mother had a bad hip, this was the doctor he wanted her to see. Dr. O’Neill took x-rays and examined me and said the hip would only get worse in time and that I should let him replace it. As it was, I could no longer golf or drive without using my hand under my right knee to lift my foot from the gas pedal to the break and vice versa. I couldn’t do stairs!

Still, I put off surgery for a while and when I could no longer stand the pain, I put aside my fears of surviving surgery (at my age of 77) and asked him to help me. He replaced my hip and after 2 days I was home on a walker. 10 days later walking around my house with a cane and then on my next visit, I was walking on my own just like my old self. NO CANE and NO LIMP. J Soon playing golf with my friends and teenage grandchildren.

I just had my 5 year re-check and am doing fine. I will see Dr. O’Neill in another 5 years. Oh yeah, I have a very small almost invisible scar on the front of my right thigh at hip level. We are blessed to have Twin Cities Orthopedics here in our area and of course Dr. Owen O’Neill.

In the fall of ’17, I fell on my right shoulder and really ripped my right rotator cuff. The arm and shoulder barely moved and when I tried to use it there was intense pain. Saw Dr. Norberg and, first, he suggested a reverse shoulder. I felt kind of iffy about that and so he suggested the SCR (Superior Capsular Reconstruction) which was a fairly new procedure. Dr. Norberg was a miracle worker. November 12 I had surgery and a little more than year later I have no pain, great flexibility, and strength. I need to work on that a bit more. Almost painless, and I’m a big baby, from the beginning. Dr. Norberg is encouraging, up beat, and has a sense of fun which doesn’t mean he can’t be serious. I am so impressed with this man’s skills. And even though I am 72, the man never treated me as if I was old. I cannot recommend him enough if you want the SCR surgery. He has a terrific PA, also.

In May of 2018, I experienced some lower back pain that quickly developed into a lot of pain from my left hip to my tingling toes. After trying several different treatments from cortisone shots (2), to chiropractic visits and therapy, it became apparent that I would need to have surgery on my L4-5 to relieve the impingement that was putting pressure on my sciatic nerve from a herniated disc and foraminal narrowing (MRI terminology). Surgery was scheduled but put off until after harvest season (farmer). Dr. Rick Davis had prescribed a couple of different medications which allowed me to finish the harvest season ahead of the surgery and which worked very well…really, a life saver. My experience with Dr. Davis and his PA Brandon was exceptional! From the time I entered the clinic the morning of surgery until I left some 4 hours later to go home was amazing. Everyone was so accommodating, understanding and comforting…the surgery by Dr. Davis turned out to be 100% successful and I am once again pain free on my left side. I would definitely recommend TCO and Dr. Davis without hesitation. Just got home from my follow up appointment and had a great conversation with Brandon and Dr. Davis about the surgery and the healing process over the next several weeks. Dr. Davis is an excellent Spinal Surgeon. I have no pain in legs or buttocks which had been persisting for over one year. He is kind, professional, very talented and has a super caring staff. He is terrific in every way. I am so glad and grateful to have had him for my surgeon. Thank you Dr. Davis for this wonderful outcome and to your staff, as well.

I had a 2 level disc replacement in my cervical spine in July 2018 to replace the worn and collapsed discs that were causing me a substantial amount of pain. I noticed results immediately after awakening from surgery. The nerve pain that I had going down both my arms was gone! I am very happy with my results and I am glad to keep full mobility in my neck. Dr. Bartie and his team are very professional and a joy to work with. I would highly recommend him for anyone considering this type of surgery.
