This was my second surgery with Dr. McGarvey. When I needed this surgery, I called my cousin in Washington, who is the foot surgeon for the Seattle Seahawks football team. He said, “The only surgeon you should have do it is Scott McGarvey.” He was right, Dr. McGarvey is exceptional! I know this because I have had three other joint surgeries to compare it to. Dr. McGarvey not only listens to your concerns but he remembers them and then takes care of them. He has a PHENOMENAL memory. I have and will continue to highly recommend Dr. McGarvey!

Dr. Wetter did a great job on my hip replacements, which were life changing for me, because of the level 10 pain I was having. After surgery the pain was almost zero. The PT staff at Mercy hospital and nursing staff made the rehab very tolerable. Thanks to Dr. Wetter, I am walking!

Dr. Duncan was absolutely fantastic. He gave me all of the info regarding this surgery, listened to me and answered all my questions before surgery and during my hospital stay. He also stopped to see me each day and all the recheck visits. He’s patient, attentive, concerned, informative and always has a smile when seeing him. I feel he is the best in his field and has helped me get through this scary procedure & recovery!

Thank you, Dr. Lewis and Libby, for the excellent care! In the past year, I have had both knees replaced with great success. I am now 10 weeks post-op of the second replacement and I am already doing things physically that I haven’t been able to do in over 10 years. Dr. Lewis is kind, caring, honest, knowledgeable and competent. I greatly appreciated that he and Libby always took the time to answer my questions and provide me with options for my care. Dr. Lewis didn’t try to “persuade” me to have surgery but initially used more conservative practices to treat my knee issues. When the time came for me to proceed with replacement surgery, there was no doubt in my mind who I would trust to do the surgery. I can’t thank Dr. Lewis and Libby enough for providing such great care.

Dr. Ryan was so wonderful. I hardly felt the injections. Very personable and caring. She explained other options for my osteoarthritis in several of my joints. I made another appointment with her for other areas bothering me.

About two years ago, I was involved in a chemical explosion that almost removed my right thumb and lacerated my right hand very badly. Dr. Bakker and his staff put me back together again. I use my hand every day for my work and it requires relatively good dexterity and control. Two years after the repair work that Dr. Bakker and his staff performed on me, I am back to 100% use and can barely tell that anything happened at all to me. What a great team!
