I am not sure words are enough to thank Dr. Christie Heikes and team for their care for daughter over the last several years. As a competitive gymnast, it feels like injuries come with the territory. It’s never easy and always emotional. Multiple sprains and two surgeries later, they are our trusted team for ensuring Maliyah continues to reach her goals despite the injuries and setbacks. They truly care about her and her success. The care we receive and the concern for not only Maliyah’s physical well-being, but also her emotional well-being, is second to none. There is no other team we trust to care for our daughter.

Dr. Arntson did a left hip replacement for me. It went perfectly. There was a  little pressure but no pain. Recovery went well and I am back to playing racquetball at age 65. The whole experience at TCO was great. Thanks to you all!

My first visit with Dr. Meyer yesterday was incredible! He has definitely restored my faith in the medical profession with his incredible bedside manner and his knowledge of Dupuytren’s Contracture. His confidence in his diagnosis surpasses all others and to me, that says it all. Kudos to Doctor Meyer! We need more handsome Dr. Meyers in this world who cares about his patients and medical profession.

In August 2022, I had surgery to fuse my L5 to S1 vertebrae. I went to a few surgeons before selecting Dr. Hoel. I felt like just another case to the other surgeons. Dr. Hoel was different. He fully listened to me to determine the root cause of my back and leg pain. I felt like an actual person. The surgery went very well! I feel great post-surgery. I am so glad I chose Dr. Hoel.

Dr. Meyer and TCO staff deserve a million pats on the back and a verbal stream of thank yous. His team has a combination of professionalism and care. The team members involved run like a well oiled gear. They were invested in my knee replacement and are doing the same for others too. They are doing an awe-inspiring job meeting and dealing with patients in a time when their anxiety is high and uncertainty abounds. Oh and the team of nurses, physician assistants, surgical team, therapists, etc. have caught that caring spirit as well. They are wonderful.

I’m sharing a tub full of “thanks” for making a difference in my life. God can’t be everywhere so he sent doctors!

Dr. Kirksson and team were great! Dr. Kirksson was able to sort out the issues of my pain and come up with a care plan that put me at ease. I have complete confidence in the medical care. His assistant was great to talk with and had very good patient rapport. I will continue to see him in the future for my pain issues.

I worked with Dr. Mittelsteadt and his team, and they were great! They were very friendly and knowledgeable when it came to any questions I had.

I am so grateful to Twin Cities Orthopedics and Maggie Dewitz, PT for creating a treatment regimen that gave me the ability to complete one of the most strenuous hikes of my life. With three weeks from injury to climb, I thought it was going to impossible to accomplish. Thanks to the excellent care I was able to make it happen!

I cannot say enough great things about the staff, procedure, after care, all of it! I moved to Texas and flew specifically back to Minnesota just to have my surgery here and I’m so glad I did. Dr. Crowe, his care team at the surgery center and all the nurses at the excel program care suites, everyone was so accommodating and kind. It made my anxiety about the procedure so much less and I am healing so much better because of the care I received!

At the age of 63, I was jumping on a trampoline and ruptured my left quadriceps tendon. I went to TCO Urgent Care in Blaine, and the staff there took great care of me. I then made an appointment with Dr. David Hartigan at TCO Maple Grove a few days later. Dr. Hartigan explained the details of my injury, the surgical intervention, and what rehabilitation would look like after surgery. He also spent time answering all of my questions, and was very comforting and confident that my surgery would be successful. During all of my follow-up visits, Dr. Hartigan explained in detail how my recovery was progressing. I feel he really celebrated my successes with me.  Due to the severity of the injury, I was concerned I would not be able to walk normal, go up and down stairs, exercise, or golf again. One year later, I am doing all the things I was worried I wouldn’t be able to do! Rehab was, and still is, a very integral part of my successful recovery. After a few months of physical therapy, I continued with a strength and mobility regimen with a Certified Athletic Trainer, Ramon Rios. I have fully returned to all of the activities I participated in prior to my injury. Thank you, Dr. Hartigan for your skills, caring attitude, and kindness. You are a rock star!
