I had a total hip replacement performed by Dr. Owen O’Neill in July 2020. My daughter, a PA at TCO, recommended Dr. O’Neill. My experience with Dr. O’Neill, his staff, the surgery center and the Excel Program was nothing short of outstanding. The entire process, from preparation/education to post surgery care was seamless, professional and compassionate. My recovery was unbelievably fast and easy. I am so grateful to Dr. O’Neill for helping me get to get back to long walks, biking and pain free living!

I absolutely cannot say enough good about Dr. Eggert and his team, Adam & Tammy. My son tore his ACL, MCL and meniscus, two weeks into his junior-year football season. Dr. Eggert performed the surgery to repair his knee. Dr. Eggert is knowledgeable, a skilled surgeon and empathetic to the patient and their situation. I appreciate the fact that Dr. Eggert always took the time to answer our questions to our understanding. We knew going into the surgery that the road to recovery would be long. The communication and follow-up between Dr. Eggert, his team, the physical therapists and my son was excellent. While I’d hope we don’t need his services in the future, I wouldn’t see anyone else!

I was hit by a car in a parking garage in 2012. My left knee meniscus was heavily damaged and was cleaned up microscopically, however I was told at that time that I would likely need a knee replacement before age 65. After moving to MN, I transferred care to Dr. Arntson at TCO. Due to arthritis, my knee would periodically swell, which was very painful. I had it drained with corticosteroid injection which worked extremely well for a number of years but, as forewarned, it eventually stopped being effective.

I had a total knee replacement, spent the next day at Mercy Hospital, and after my second PT session I was able to return home. The first couple of days were rough (pain wise). Within 2 weeks I was able to walk unassisted. Within 6 weeks I was able to engage in most of my prior daily routine. Continuing PT and exercise, I anticipate being better than I have felt in a couple of years. Thank you TCO, Dr. Arntson, Megan Nelson (PT), and Bri Lund (PA)!

Dr. Cooper and his staff were very helpful and certainly eased the anxiety my daughter had over her hurt wrist. He offered a couple options and suggested the best given the injury, her age and level of activity.

Dr. Cooper is a fantastic and caring surgeon. We would not trust anyone else. We are looking at having other family members with issues in his specialty transfer to his practice.

I met with Dr. Deal for pain and numbness in my neck, shoulder and arm. He was so thorough, scheduling a CT scan and EMG nerve test to rule out potential issues and really “see” what was going on. Dr. Deal performed a two-level fusion on my C4-C5 and C5-C6 at the end of June. I had relief from my pain immediately. The recovery was quite quick. I just had my three month follow up and I’m good to go. I am so grateful for Dr. Deal and the whole team at TCO. I would recommend them to everyone.

I had a lot of cleanup surgeries over the past 43 years. When it was time for the total knee operation, Dr. Knowlan did an awesome job. I had no pain and bed side matter was great. Thanks Dr. Knowlan!

I received full knee replacement with Dr. Sanders and his PA, Matthew Bennett. 1.5 years later I can state with complete honesty that it was a total success. I am able to do the activities I love without pain. I would highly recommend the services I received with Dr. Sanders and Matthew. Follow-up appointments have been excellent and definitely give me a peace of mind that I haven’t had in years. Thanks!!!

I would like to thank Dr. Olson and Certified Athletic Trainer, Chris Ashton, for taking the time to explain my questions. They make a fantastic effort to do their best at their jobs. I’m sure both of them have many patients to see and follow-up with. They have always made me feel that my issues are important. Keep up the great work!

My son was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army, stationed in Honolulu, when he suffered a severe knee injury. He had 2 unsuccessful surgeries over 2 years in the Army and was eventually medically retired. My son was extremely active prior to his injury, but after the injury and surgeries, he was left unable to do the things he enjoyed. Just a casual walk was painful and difficult.

After some extensive research, we found Dr. LaPrade and TCO. We made the trip to Minnesota, had a successful surgery and one week’s worth of physical therapy, and then returned to South Carolina. Fast forward 8 weeks, and my son is walking pain free, once again optimistic about his future, looking forward to resuming an active life, and pursuing his post-military career.

The thank you list is extensive, and I’ll surely miss someone. Let’s just say it is most definitely a team effort, and Dr. LaPrade and his entire team were a God-send. Thank you for giving him back the quality of life he deserves.
