Dr. O’Neill and the whole team at TCO are amazing. They are attentive, caring and make you feel like you are the only patient. I was walking with assistance shortly after surgery and walking unassisted 3 days later. My recovery was swift and I was back to normal life 3 weeks later. Every time I needed to speak with Dr. O’Neill or the TCO staff, they were available 24/7. I recommend Dr. O’Neill to anyone that needs hip surgery. He is now taking care of my knee and I have full confidence in him.

I am a retired 66 year old who likes to be active and I’ve had knee pain for years. The pain got to the point where I knew I needed a treatment plan. After some research, I chose Dr. O’Neill and am very happy with my choice. After trying a cortisone shot, which unfortunately did not help, I ended up having back to back total knee replacements, with the first knee surgery in July 2021 and the second knee surgery in December 2021. Dr. O’Neill and his staff explained the whole process, from the surgery itself to recovery expectations, and physical therapy. Both surgeries went GREAT!!

Recovery was just as Dr. O’Neill said it would be and much easier than I personally expected. After my July surgery, I was able to go fishing at Lake of the Woods with no issues after 6 weeks. I also went on a fishing trip in Canada with friends at 8 weeks post-op. I just had my 8 week follow-up for my second knee and all is well. I am looking forward to a busy summer enjoying the outdoors.

I have had several prior knee surgeries from competitive sports injuries over the past 25 years, all performed by the same renowned and outstanding knee surgeon. That doctor was the “go to” person for knee surgeries! I always knew that I would eventually need a TKR so when “my” doctor retired 2 years ago, I started researching the current state of TKR technology and the very top surgeons who had the expertise in using that technology. Having professional experience in the med-tech industry, I knew what I was looking for and took my time evaluating the top docs in the field.

Dr. Owen O’Neill was a clear standout surgeon with an outstanding team and years of experience in the TKR arena. And I decided “that’s the doctor” I want to be “my” doctor, taking care of my knees and any future orthopedic medical matters I may encounter. To say I am a little hard on my body is an understatement. I have had multiple issues with both of my knees. I knew it was time to be seen again so I put out a Facebook request for “a great knee guy”. That’s when a private message was sent to me from a longtime family friend. She told me the story of how her mom met Dr. Ridley and how wonderful her mom’s surgery and recovery went. So I looked into Dr. Ridley. Keep in mind, I am NOT an elite athlete but I am a very, very active (almost) 60 year old.

Our first visit was to chat about both of my knees. After x-rays and MRI’s were done, we had answers and made a plan. We planned to “clean up” my right knee with a same day surgery and a total replacement for my bad left knee. Both surgeries were done at the TCO Blaine clinic. My right knee surgery was done in October 2021 and I was in and out without any issues. My left knee surgery was in Jan 2022 and I stayed in the EXCEL Program care suites at the Blaine facility. That suite was seriously the nicest place to recover in. I cannot brag enough about the staff, my suite and my fabulous care. When I was ready to be sent home after both surgeries, Dr. Ridley had all of the medications, PT, Q&A and just about anything else you could want ready to go.

Dr. Ridley calls to check in on you and then his staff does a few days later! I have had my share of doctors that are unlike Dr. Ridley. He listened to me when I explained the issues I was having. He made me feel like a part of the team when it came to surgery day and recovery. I have already referred him to a few family members and friends. So if you’re in pain, don’t hesitate. Dr. Ridley is seriously the best you can get!

Dr. Ridley completed a total knee replacement on my left knee in April and I couldn’t be happier. I just skied 10 days in a row on my new knee at Breckenridge with absolutely no problems whatsoever. Dr. Ridley helped me back to my sports and activities. I would highly recommend Dr. Ridley for any orthopedic procedure!

5 years ago I had bi-lateral knee replacement surgery done by Dr. Kruse, and the surgeries were 3 months apart. The surgeries went well and my recuperation went well too. I’m using those repaired knees pain-free now, as I recuperate from recent heart bypass surgery. As I do rehab for my heart, I am once again realizing that my knees are able to do the necessary walking and biking motion without any stiffness or pain thanks to Dr. Kruse and my knee surgeries. He is a great surgeon, patient focused and motivated me to use my new knees. I would highly recommend him to care for others.

From the first consultation through my rehab, TCO was amazing. The EXCEL Program made the experience very smooth. Everything was laid out very well and it was easy. Dr. Arntson did an amazing job on my knee. He exceeded all expectations. I had almost no pain in my knee after surgery and the scar is very minimal. I was told he is a great surgeon and I can say he did a fantastic job on my knee. Kudos to the whole TCO staff for making this experience as easy and painless as possible. Thank you!
