Several years ago, I developed severe degenerative knee joints, and I was unable to walk more than one block without severe swelling and knee pain. My active life as I knew it was ending. I sought the consultation of Twin Cities Orthopedics, and the care of Dr. Andrea Saterbak. She was caring and professional through her unique surgical talents, she replaced both of my knees.

TCO provided excellent physical therapy throughout my recovery. I was soon back bicking, but one of my dreams was to ski the American Birkebeiner, a 35 mile cross country ski race in northern Wisconsin. I am happy to say I finished the race this year. I hesitated for years before having my knee replaced, but finally placed my trust in Dr Kelly. I had excellent results and am very pleased with the recovery process. My only regret is having waited so long!

I can’t recommend Dr. Hunt enough. He’s a doctor that will not only listen to you, but will work WITH you to come up with the best treatment plan. Dr. O’Neill and the whole team at TCO are amazing. They are attentive, caring and make you feel like you are the only patient. I was walking with assistance shortly after surgery and walking unassisted 3 days later. My recovery was swift and I was back to normal life 3 weeks later. Every time I needed to speak with Dr. O’Neill or the TCO staff, they were available 24/7. I recommend Dr. O’Neill to anyone that needs hip surgery. He is now taking care of my knee and I have full confidence in him.

I am a retired 66 year old who likes to be active and I’ve had knee pain for years. The pain got to the point where I knew I needed a treatment plan. After some research, I chose Dr. O’Neill and am very happy with my choice. After trying a cortisone shot, which unfortunately did not help, I ended up having back to back total knee replacements, with the first knee surgery in July 2021 and the second knee surgery in December 2021. Dr. O’Neill and his staff explained the whole process, from the surgery itself to recovery expectations, and physical therapy. Both surgeries went GREAT!!

Recovery was just as Dr. O’Neill said it would be and much easier than I personally expected. After my July surgery, I was able to go fishing at Lake of the Woods with no issues after 6 weeks. I also went on a fishing trip in Canada with friends at 8 weeks post-op. I just had my 8 week follow-up for my second knee and all is well. I am looking forward to a busy summer enjoying the outdoors.

5 years ago I had bi-lateral knee replacement surgery done by Dr. Kruse, and the surgeries were 3 months apart. The surgeries went well and my recuperation went well too. I’m using those repaired knees pain-free now, as I recuperate from recent heart bypass surgery. As I do rehab for my heart, I am once again realizing that my knees are able to do the necessary walking and biking motion without any stiffness or pain thanks to Dr. Kruse and my knee surgeries. He is a great surgeon, patient focused and motivated me to use my new knees. I would highly recommend him to care for others.

From the first consultation through my rehab, TCO was amazing. The EXCEL Program made the experience very smooth. Everything was laid out very well and it was easy. Dr. Arntson did an amazing job on my knee. He exceeded all expectations. I had almost no pain in my knee after surgery and the scar is very minimal. Everyday my wife and I are so thankful for TCO and the great doctors and personnel. Both my wife and I had a knee replacement performed by Dr. Comfort and his great team. We are now pain-free and can enjoy doing things without worrying about our ability to walk the distance or climb the stairs.
