Three years after my first total knee replacement went awry, I have now had a highly successful replacement — of the replacement. Dr. Arntson’s reputation in the community for being a gifted surgeon made my decision easy when selecting him. What came as an unexpected bonus was that his kindness and underlying sense of humor during office and hospital interactions with him brought me joy.

Last year I had a total replacement of my left knee with Dr. Owen O’Neill. I had my right knee totally replaced through TCO 10 years earlier and after some difficulty with that surgery, I was concerned about getting the second surgery. I went through TCO’s list of surgeons, looking for someone with a different approach to the procedure. I spoke with two different surgeons and settled on Dr. Owen O’Neill. He and his staff inspired confidence with their competence and thorough care description from start to finish. After a two-day hospital stay, I went home needing only over-the-counter meds and physical therapy assisting in my complete recovery. My only regret was waiting so many years to get relief. There was truly no comparison between my first surgery and my second. I would definitely encourage anyone considering a total knee replacement to consult with Dr. Owen O’Neill at TCO.

Outstanding results! I had both knees replaced with one year between the two procedures. Along with a terrific outcome, Abbott Northwestern Hospital had a great protocol which at the time included acupuncture for those interested. I felt I was in the best hands and that Dr. Anseth crafted my knees to be a perfect fit!

I am 80 years old and had total left knee replacement in June 2019. My knee was knock-kneed but Dr. O’Neill worked extra hard and got it perfectly straight. I was walking on it the same day of surgery. Home the next day and riding a stationary bike 4 days later. Within two weeks, no walker or cane. I never had any pain. Dr. O’Neill is a fantastic surgeon. He and his team care for their patients. They take all the time needed to listen to your concerns, answer questions and explain everything in detail. He is not only a top surgeon but a great person. I have the highest praise and respect for Dr. O’Neill and his team and highly recommend them if you need knee surgery.

I needed a knee replacement since November of 2016. I was reluctant to do the surgery but I finally had the surgery on July 15^th, 2019. The results are amazing! I could put weight on the knee immediately with no pain. I used a walker for a week and then used a cane for another week or two as needed. After three weeks I could do almost everything. PT and home exercise really helped me heal. I want to thank Dr. Lewis and his staff for the great care!

Dr. Anseth has performed 3 separate joint replacements for me over 9 years, including both hips and right knee. I would highly recommend him as the physician of choice in replacement surgery. I have no issues with any of the joint replacements and continue to enjoy a full, active lifestyle at 79.

I had a total knee replacement of my left knee in April 2018 and a total knee replacement of my right knee in April 2019. Thanks to Dr. Bjerke and his staff, Katie and Andrea, I can walk and go up and down stairs without pain and I no longer limp at all. I have seen Dr. Diekmann for over 10 years. He is a very good doctor and I recommend him to many. He has given me cortisone shots for my bad knees and now it is time to get a knee replacement. I have no worries because he did my mom’s hip surgery and you could barely tell where the scar was. His personality is A+ and he really does great with informing you what is going on and takes his time doing it too. I highly recommend him.

I don’t know where to begin to thank Dr. O’Neill and his staff for helping me over the past few years. Joint by joint they helped me improve my mobility! Having to have both my hips and both knees replaced was no easy journey, but they were there with me every step of the way! They answered many questions for me, and always made me feel important.
