I had neck pain and numbness, with pain down my arm and into my hand. Dr. Brenner walked me through options, explained everything and took time to educate along the way. He called me multiple times and went to every length necessary to be sure I had all the information I needed. This experience was absolutely the best I have ever had. I’m so glad I met him! Surgery was completed to replace the disk and he took all the time necessary to deal with getting it right. Recovery is going well, my arm pain is gone, and I could not be happier. What a fantastic individual.

I highly recommend Dr. Christopher Meyer and his team at Twin Cities Orthopedics. I had been dealing with severe hip pain on my right side for the last few years. After having total hip replacement surgery, I am now pain free! I wish I would have done this sooner! My surgery was done at the Two Twelve Surgery Center in Chaska. My experience there and throughout this entire process has been wonderful. Thank you to Dr. Meyer, Cara, Sommer, Andrea (RN from the Surgery Center) and Donica (EXCEL Program coordinator), and team for the excellent care that I have received. I am truly grateful.

I had was thrilled that my anterior hip replacement went so well! I had a posterior hip replacement in 2020 and needed to have the other hip done in 2023. I opted to have an anterior procedure this time and was extremely happy with the results. I had very little pain, which Tylenol handled well. Everyone was surprised how well I was moving around shortly after the surgery. Recovery has been much easier than with the posterior approach. Dr. Owen O’Neill is amazing. He explains everything ahead of time and what to expect. His team of nurses and staff are the very best and the EXCEL Program was definitely the way to go!

Dr. Szalapski has been injecting my arthritic thumb for two years now. I thought I was going to have to give up golf and gardening but Dr. Szalapski encouraged me to try the injection. I was petrified to get a shot in a very small and sensitive joint but it was a very small price to pay for the reward of being able to get back to doing so many things that I enjoy. In June of 2019 Dr. Davis performed surgery to correct a herniated disc that I had been dealing with for three years. When I first started seeing Dr. Davis, the thought of having surgery terrified me. The entire team at TCO delivered exceptional care and made sure that I was comfortable with my treatment plan every step of the way. Since having surgery, I no longer have back pain. Dr. Davis gave me my life back and I would absolutely recommend him and his team to anyone dealing with back issues.

When I came to TCO Maple Grove with a painful hip condition, I had “muddled through” years of pain. I couldn’t walk normal distances or stairs without holding on to someone or something to steady myself. Activities like dressing, driving, getting in and out of a seat were challenging. I passed on social gatherings that involved walking. When I saw Dr. Bircher and his staff, he asked me specific questions about my symptoms, my lifestyle, and my goals for an improved lifestyle. Then he and his staff gave me their diagnosis and goals to aim for. I also had other health issues related to exercise, blood pressure, and breathing. He worked with my other doctors to coordinate the timing, treatments, and specific surgical requirements to assure my safety and a positive outcome. It worked! I am enjoying activities again and I am improving at a pace that’s comfortable for me, based on my goals and abilities. Don’t wait. See Dr. Bircher ASAP if you are in pain. Life can be fun!

Before coming to TCO, my shoulder injury was misdiagnosed three times. When I met Dr. Butterfield, he did a thorough exam and ordered an MRI to determine the actual cause of my injury. Dr. Butterfield was able to find the problem quickly and we decided the best treatment was surgery to repair a SLAP tear in my shoulder. I was walked through the entire process from start to finish and after my surgery and physical therapy with Seth, I was back to 100% quickly. I work and play hard, and having my shoulder back to normal has enabled me to get back to work and playing hockey again. I couldn’t be happier with my experience at TCO and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

My right shoulder was so painful I could not even reach the car radio without supporting my right arm. I tried the old “just rub some dirt on it” routine, but it just kept getting worse. I finally made an appointment with Dr. Norberg and he said it would not get better without surgery. He suggested a reverse shoulder replacement and we proceeded with the surgery. The first couple days are no fun, but honestly, it was worth it. I can not only adjust the radio and heater, but do other stuff as well. I’m so happy I had Dr. Norberg do the surgery!

It was a great experience from the first visit until the last. It’s been six weeks since surgery and I’m walking an average of six miles per day. Dr. Schmiesing did a great job with the surgery and the follow up care. The EXCEL Program was a lot of help too, along with my physical therapist, Jacob. I would have this surgery all over again, if needed!

Dr. Wetter made the whole process easy. Any questions I had were always explained. I would highly recommend. The EXCEL Program at TCO was great!
