After suffering a torn and displaced labrum, tearing my bicep, and fracturing my shoulder in a ski mountaineering accident, Dr. Johnson surgically repaired my shoulder, resetting the labrum, removing a bone fragment from my shoulder socket, and repairing my bicep. Given the severity and complexity of the injury, the pre-surgical prognosis was a hope to regain most, but not all, use of the shoulder. The surgery was tremendously successful. One year later, I have regained nearly 100% range of motion and my strength is returning. Dr. Johnson did a truly remarkable job!

Had my follow-up with Dr. Norberg seven months after surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff and I’m delighted at the progress I’ve made in such a short time. My range of motion is back, and pain is pretty much gone. Still recovering but feeling great. I went to Dr. Lewis for pain in my left arm. After an exam and imaging, Dr. Lewis diagnosed a torn rotator cuff. Decided on surgery, where he discovered a complete tear. I was in a sling for 6 weeks, followed by 6 weeks of physical therapy, and I was back 100%, no pain, no limitations. I highly recommend Dr. Lewis!

Dr. Hartigan saw me for both knees and shoulder. He was impressive and had such a great way of communicating and putting me at ease. He helped me with an exercise program that brought my knees back to being able to hike and exercise again. He also ordered an injection for my shoulder that I haven’t had any further issue with. Four years ago, I was experiencing some hip discomfort on my right side. I just assumed it was because of my active lifestyle and some muscle soreness. There were 2 people I worked with that both had hip replacements from Dr. Owen O’Neill, so they encouraged me to seek him out. Sure enough, there was some arthritis that was causing that discomfort. I endured it for 4 years because it was never that painful. However, it reached a “bone-on-bone” stage where it needed replacing. I was prepared for the worst in my mind, but the entire process was so smooth and worry free, that it was hard to believe I actually had a major surgical procedure. I was up on my feet and off the walker within 3-4 days. Swimming, walking and riding my bike within 3 weeks, and back to golfing at 8 weeks. I jokingly asked Dr. O’Neill if my golf game would improve after this procedure, and he said if it did, he would like to take credit for that as well and maybe start marketing his services in that manner. Let me say that my golf game is no better, but no worse, as I am back taking some much needed golf lessons. The entire staff at TCO has been absolutely top notch all around!

Dr. Stephen Olmsted is thorough, knowledgeable, very kind and compassionate. He focuses on you as a patient and is extremely professional. He is a very skillful surgeon and I had an excellent experience with him recently. His staff is so very supportive and friendly, and along with Dr. Olmsted, they make a great team.
