Dr. Kelly did exceptional work for my total shoulder replacement and delivered on everything he said he would prior to surgery.

My right shoulder pain was extreme before the surgery and now I have no pain after surgery. Pain during my recovery time was manageable and physical therapy was painless and easy. I fell at home and broke a bone near my shoulder. The pain was intense and I was immobilized in a sling. TCO Physical Therapists, Jared Hansen, PTA and Seth Engberg, DPT, met with me two times per week, alternating appointments. They helped me move my shoulder joint, add range of motion, and build strength. I enjoyed time with both of them and following their programs. They encouraged me. Their sense of humor and respect for me truly attributed to the positive relationship we share. They made my recovery possible. I highly recommend both gentlemen to anyone in need of physical therapy!

I went to see Dr. Hoel because of severe pain in my lower back and down my legs. It was always worse when I was walking and bending over. The pain was relieved when I could sit down, but once I got up, it was only a matter of time before I needed to sit again. An MRI revealed that my 5th lumbar was not stable and was narrowing my spinal cord resulting in the pain down my legs (spondylosis and spondylolisthesis).

Dr. Hoel listened carefully to my descriptions of the pain I was having. He was compassionate and explained my diagnosis carefully. After our first meeting, I decided to do some research and came back to ask more questions. Again, he was very helpful and answered all of my questions and concerns. I tried physical therapy first, but when that proved unsuccessful, I asked to have the surgery. Dr. Hoel suggested to replace my disc and to fuse my 4th and 5th lumbar vertebrae together. I can’t tell you how happy I am that I had this surgery! The pain in my back and down my legs was completely gone right away. It was miraculous! Dr. Hoel really impressed me with his kindness, compassion, and knowledge. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others.

I have danced competitively for almost 15 years. After six months of chronic hip pain, I went to see Dr. Ridley. I was afraid that surgery was going to cut my final year of dancing short, but then he offered a treatment plan to relieve my pain and keep me dancing. The PRP injection has truly changed my life. From being in constant pain and unable to do what I love, I was at an all-time low. After decades of confusion and visiting a variety of practitioners for chronic leg pain, I finally found out that I needed my hips replaced. I was ready to schedule my surgery but kept hitting road blocks with a previous provider. Inspired by a word-of-mouth recommendation, I called Twin Cities Orthopedics and was scheduled to meet with orthopedic surgeon Dr. TJ Ridley the next day!
He made a great first impression and had me scheduled for my first surgery in exactly one month! I felt validated and relieved to finally be on my way to addressing the problem. He told me that hip replacement is a medical miracle. Based on my experience, I can tell you it’s true. Within a couple hours after surgery, I was on my feet walking around! I was discharged from the hospital the next day and resumed normal activities at home with a few modifications.

A couple months later Dr. Ridley replaced my other hip. Four months later, I’m pain free! I’m hiking and biking every day and keeping up with my grandsons, ages 10 and 11! When I initially met Dr. Ridley, I was using a walker. My hips were in such bad shape and I was in so much pain I could barely walk. Now I can do almost anything! I am grateful to Dr. Ridley and the entire TCO team for restoring my ability to function. My life has changed dramatically as a result of the care I’ve received. Dr. O’Neill and his very professional team provided excellent care related to my anterior right hip replacement. I had my left hip done with a posterior procedure at another medical facility and the anterior procedure was a night and day different experience. Dr. O’Neill performed the surgery at 9:30am and I was at home recovering at 7:00pm. I was fully recovered after 6 weeks but back to usual activities in 3 weeks. The posterior left hip surgery resulted in muscle spasms that lasted 6 months and impaired usual activities and driving in some form for that length of time. I could not believe the difference in these surgeries. I definitely recommend Dr. O’Neill and the anterior procedure

Dr. Mair is amazing. I’ve had one knee replaced and it has changed my life. I have the second knee replacement scheduled soon. I highly recommend him. He has great bedside manner and is a genuinely caring individual.
