WOW is what comes to mind when I think about the before and after my total hip replacement surgery performed by Dr. Owen O’Neill at TCO. At age 58, I didn’t think that I was “old” enough to have a joint replacement, but my active lifestyle became more and more limited. Once the “bone on bone” feeling started in my left hip, I knew it was time. The pain was prohibitive, and I could no longer enjoy my favorite activities, even walking! I have to say, the minimally invasive surgery went perfectly under Dr. O’Neill’s expert care. Within 9 days post-surgery, I was walking around the house without assistance. I feel as though I have my life back!

I had my first knee replaced in March of 2023. I had my second knee replaced in March of 2024. I am six weeks out from the second surgery and have resumed my activities of daily living in a more relaxed fashion than I have for a long time. I am starting to ride my bike, take walks and swing a golf club. The surgery and post-surgical physical therapy were all done in a professional manner and exceeded my expectations. Mitch and Brandon at TCO physical therapy did a great job helping with my rehab. I am climbing stairs and navigating uneven ground better than I have in years. It was a good decision to use Dr Saterbak and her team.

Dr. Wetter and his team were awesome with the replacement of both of my knees. I had a great experience with their care and attention. I would highly recommend them to help anyone who has knee pain.

Dr. Gulli is an amazing surgeon. I like him because he listens and really cares about his patients. Before, during, and after surgery, he makes sure you’re taken care of. I highly recommend him to anyone needing any of the surgeries that he performs.

My left hip required replacement, so I selected Dr. Bircher at TCO, which turned out to be the best decision to treat both of my hip pain issues. He is caring, knowledgeable, expresses confidence in the treatment options, and always had time to answer my questions. He replaced my left hip with no follow-up issues after the recovery. I was able to resume normal activities as much as my right hip would allow. The right hip ended up needing hip revision surgery after extensive tests determined the original hip replacement performed by a different physician was loose and causing pain when I walked. Again, Dr. Bircher and his care team did an excellent job preparing me for what lay ahead as this one was more complicated than my left hip replacement. I am now 6 months post hip revision surgery, and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend Dr. James Bircher, his care team including his assistant Kari Gabrielse if you are seeking relief from hip pain.
