I was fighting trigger and pain issues in both hands. Dr. Bakker performed two separate “release” procedures (one on each hand). Dr. Bakker and the staff at TCO are extremely professional and very personable. They were always on time and had great communication. Dr. Bakker clearly communicated what to expect with the outcome and rehabilitation. I’m very satisfied with the outcome and the prognosis for my hands. Dr. Hoel and the entire staff at Twin Cities Orthopedics were outstanding. I’ve had multiple back surgeries over the years, and when we moved to Minneapolis a few months ago and I had a recurrence of a herniated disk that had been operated on by two previous surgeons. Dr. Hoel proved to be an excellent diagnostician and when it became apparent that I needed surgery, he also proved to be an excellent surgeon. Although he faced a tough challenge, due to significant scar tissue from my previous surgeries, he skillfully took care of my disk and I had a more complete and rapid recovery than ever before. His manner with patients is calm, friendly, and confident. The entire support staff, from front desk personnel to nurses and technicians, turned out to be highly capable and very good to work with. I would recommend Dr. Hoel and TCO to anyone!

I was referred to Dr. Saterbak about 7 years ago by my primary physician. My physician raved about Dr. Saterbak’ and her team. My knees were in rough shape and I have a family history of bad knees. At that time, Dr. Saterbak advised me that I would have to have my knees replaced at a very young age. After two knee scopes and rounds of cortisone shots, I had both knees replaced in 2021.

I am almost 6 weeks post-op after my second knee replacement and I feel like a new person. I did not realize how much pain I had been in. Dr. Saterbak and her team Dana and Sarah have been amazing throughout the entire time I’ve been under their care.

Dr. Sanders is the very best. He did so much for me. He is brilliant and very kind. Thank you, Dr. Sanders!

Dr. O’Neill replaced both of my knees. The surgeries went well and the physical therapy at TCO was effective and painless. Just 8 weeks after the second surgery, I am walking without a cane…pain free! Dr. O’Neill and his team are wonderful.

Dr. O’Neill replaced both of my hips in 2017. Life has been wonderful!! It’s been four years with no pain!

At 51 years old, having to have total shoulder replacement surgery is a bit shocking and humbling. The surgery, care and professionalism I received however, has been very positive and successful. I feel fortunate and look forward to the prospective of using my shoulder again for normal activities like reaching above shoulder height, lifting with normal strength and swimming again. For so long, I tolerated the pain and worked around my immobility. I’m young and should not be under such restrictions so it is actually exciting that I won’t have to suffer and live like that anymore. I’m very happy I had this surgery done with Dr. Kelly!

I had knee pain which limited my quality of life so I chose to have knee replacement surgery. Even though it has only been 5 weeks, I have good range of motion and I am going up and down stairs. My surgical and physical therapy experience has been excellent. Dr. Kelly and Lindsay were wonderful as well as the entire staff. I am sure this is going to greatly improve my quality of life.
