I had intense back pain for years. I wasn’t seeing a lot of results with physical therapy alone, despite following the recommended therapy exercises. Then Dr. Ash said I’d be a good candidate for the MedX program and I am so thankful for that recommendation. Once I began working with Dr. Biewen and his team – using the machines and implementing core exercises – things really started improving. It took a couple of weeks in the program and I progressively got better. I went from excruciating pain in everyday tasks, to running, working out, hiking, driving in the car for as long as I want, etc. There are no restrictions now.

I highly recommend this program to anyone who is suffering with lower back issues. I’m glad that I was pointed in this direction. If it wasn’t for Dr. Biewen, his team, and the MedX program, I would still be in a lot of pain.

My knee surgery with Dr. Kelly corrected a very serious quad tenon injury which allows me to continue with my activities somewhat similarly to before. I do have some restrictions but I feel fortunate to be able to function as I am.

I had hip replacement surgery with Dr. O’Neill on October 13, 2020 and everything went smoothly. I could barely walk into the facility on the day of surgery and had less pain after the surgery. The staff at the overnight facility was great. My recovery went very well and my hip felt noticeably better each day. I just got approved to play golf again just 8 weeks after surgery.

Dr. Anseth did partial knee replacement surgery in 2018 on my left knee. Of the surgeons I checked out, only Dr. Anseth provided sensible options. He came highly recommended by a former patient. Then in November 2020, he did a partial knee replacement on my right knee. Now, I too, highly recommend Dr. Anseth! He is caring, genuine and a great surgeon. I am now pain-free. Also, special acknowledgement to his team members, Heidi and Jess. They were always reachable and solved whatever issue I had. I always felt secure and confident with Twin Cities Orthopedics and Dr. Anseth. Thank you to everyone!

After nearly two years, three specialists, dozens of appointments, procedures, & medications Dr. Olson was the only one that listened to my symptoms & pursued a treatment plan that finally addressed my condition & concerns. Thank you so much. I just wanted to let him know how thankful I am for taking such good care of my health!

I have had Dupuytren’s contracture of my right hand for many years. It was painful and made it very difficult to use my right hand. I had a Xiaflex injection by Dr. McCarthy and am amazed at the results. I can put my had flat on the table now and have much more mobility. I highly recommend this procedure and Dr. McCarthy!

After a fluke accident, my daughter fractured her finger and mangled her nail. The ER referred us to Dr. Ridley at TCO. We got an appointment quickly and soon learned that this injury to her tiny finger would require surgery. From the very beginning, Dr. Ridley and his staff made the process as easy as possible. Both Dr. Ridley and his assistant, Bradley, are kind, funny, gentle, and patient. They both did all they could to make my daughter feel comfortable and ease her fears. As a parent, I appreciated the fact that they travel together to their different clinic locations– familiar faces helped to ease my daughter’s nervousness, and provided for excellent continuity of care.

Dr. Ridley explained things thoroughly and took plenty of time to answer our questions and address any concerns. COVID (combined with a holiday) made scheduling tricky. But between Dr. Ridley and his care coordinator, Jackie, they took action to not only secure an open operating room, but assisted in getting same day scheduling for the COVID test and pre-op exam. Dr. Ridley demonstrated superb bedside manner. In the world of orthopedics, I suspect that this is one of the most minor cases. However, an injury is painful and scary for a 10 year old and Dr. Ridley was respectful and compassionate towards both of us. Immediately following surgery, Dr. Ridley filled us in on how things went and what to expect next. The surgical experience was flawless and my daughter experienced NO surgical pain at any time after. We are now three weeks post-surgery and she is healing, as expected, and nearly ready to return to all her usual activities.

Scheduling post-op appointments has been easy and efficient. We have been able to schedule at times convenient to us, and have experienced almost no wait time while at the clinic. While I would prefer no more broken bones in our future, I would definitely return to TCO and would have no hesitation in returning to Dr. Ridley. He is knowledgeable, competent, and patient-focused. In the words of the patient herself: “Five out of five stars! He is fantastic!” She also sought out a business card on her way out. I will have to monitor this, as she may now think they are old pals and be calling just to chit chat.

Last year while playing golf, I had a sharp pain in my right arm. I was advised that I had a strain of my triceps above my right elbow and that I should let it heal over the winter. As an avid golfer, I was extremely frustrated this spring when the pain came back on my first round of golf. Thinking that my golf season was over, I wanted to find an orthopedist that would be able to get me back on the course. I was given Dr. Norberg‘s name from a good friend, who said he is the go-to doc for golfers. During my first appointment, Dr. Norberg let me know I had a bone spur that was causing the pain and I needed surgery. Two weeks after surgery I was hitting balls and, within the first month, I was able to play 18 holes. Thanks Dr. Norberg for saving my golf season.

Dr. Arntson performed an anterior hip replacement for me on 11/9/2020 at Mercy Hospital. Even with the hoops to jump through during this COVID-19 era, everyone from check in, surgery, recovery, and post-op care was wonderful. I am 5 weeks post-surgery, and have been walking unassisted for 2-3 weeks, with little to no unmedicated discomfort. I will be scheduling hip #2 with Dr. Arntson for 2021.

Following surgery with Dr. Kelly, I am now back at work unloading and loading grocery carts. I’m still strengthening my knees but I’m able to do stairs slowly and I can ride a bike as part of my exercise. I do get stiff but if I sit for a bit, but both knees are ready to go again. I’m getting back to moving to my faster pace walk and style of life every day.
