After 40 years of martial arts and hitting things that don’t always break, my knuckles were destroyed. I was in a massive amount of pain for years. Dr. Shashank Dwivedi replaced two of my knuckles. I was completely pain free not long into my recovery. I type all day and have no issues with my hands, especially when riding motocross and mountain bikes. If you have arthritis, it is definitely worth seeing Dr. Dwivedi!

Dr. Dwivedi performed endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery on my left hand on November 17th, 2025. After suffering from numbness, tingling, and a nightly burning sensation for five years, I am now pleased to report that after the surgery all symptoms have disappeared. As of today, just two weeks after surgery, I am once again able to work without restrictions or pain. The entire process from my initial consultation with Dr. Dwivedi through today’s stitch removal appointment has exceeded all my expectations. After a scary car accident, I broke my wrist and finger. I was referred to Twin Cities Orthopedics and Dr. Moeller. Everyone on her team and in the physical therapy department — Eryn, Sarah, Bridget, and Morgan (and more!) — have been wonderful, upbeat, fun, and kind. Everyone has been so understanding, patient, and informative to make sure I felt well taken care of. A positive and personable medical team makes all the difference, and they obviously know that. Dr. Karlstad performed a Trapeziectomy surgery on my left thumb in April. The surgery went very well. I now have full use of my thumb, and the scaring is hardly visible! Before my surgery, I would drop things as my thumb couldn’t support the weight, not even a cup. I will be seeing Dr. Karlstad again for my right thumb!
