In 2015, at the age of 43, I made the best decision of my life to have Dr. Stephen Olmsted perform ligament reconstruction surgery on my right wrist. Prior to the surgery, I had an unknown injury and was unable to perform basic tasks like washing dishes and writing. I am an avid fisherman, and I even stopped fishing due to the pain in my wrist. Dr. Olmsted was very thorough before moving forward with surgery and explained that the procedure was not guaranteed to be successful.
The surgery was a huge success, and after about a year, my wrist was stronger than ever. I was able to return to all the activities I love. It has now been over 10 years since my surgery, and I can confidently say that my wrist feels stronger than ever without any limitations. A big thank you goes out to Dr. Stephen Olmsted!
