I am so happy with my third total knee replacement! I could not straighten my knee for 20 years. I had pain and swelling and had to have it aspirated every 3-4 months. I can now bend my knee and straighten it fully. I’m totally amazed of the outcome. Thank you, Dr. Nessler and team!

After two years of chronic pain and a sedentary lifestyle, Dr. Carlson gave me a second chance at life. He planned my knee surgery from start to finish, thinking through the best possible recovery for me. He discussed and explained all treatment possibilities while making eye contact and making me feel heard. He followed up with me when he said he would and made sure that I felt good about the recovery plan. He discussed an active lifestyle post-op and I’ve have never been more grateful for a surgeon in my life. Dr. Carlson definitely gave me a second chance to live to the fullest!

Dr. Edward Szalapski preformed a total right knee arthroplasty in November 2023. I could tell that my pain from my damaged knee joint was totally gone after I had this procedure. I was an overnight guest at Fairview Hospital and was discharged the next day at 11:30AM. My surgeon did an excellent job and I congratulated him on the fine job that he did. He was impressed with my outcome and asked me to schedule an appointment to see him in December 2024. He said he usually schedules a follow up in 3 months, but I did not need to see him until next December 2024.

I have to give credit to my physical therapist for helping me be able to get back to what I love. My physical therapist was Jake Foley from TCO. I am totally pleased with the care I received from Dr. Szalapski and Jake. I would highly recommend both of these TCO employees to do my next surgery and PT.

TCO’s Dr. Christopher Meyer did a total knee replacement surgery on me in June. He and his team did such an amazing job, and the outcome of that surgery was so good that when my other knee started to cause me a lot of pain, I did not hesitate to have Dr. Meyer do a total knee replacement on that one.

I had the privilege of having this surgery at the new Orthopedic Institute on Ridgeview’s Chaska Campus. I chose Dr. Meyer because he did a total knee replacement on my wife five years ago, and she had a great experience and outcome. I have numerous family members and friends that also have great things to say about him. Thank you, Dr. Meyer and your whole team, that took care of me before, during, and after my surgery. I appreciate all the kindness that was shown to me.

I had a total knee replacement on my left knee in July 2023. Dr. Peterson and his care team are awesome. Jenna answered all of my pre-op questions and worked with my short-term disability provider to get all the paperwork filed for me. Thank you so much Jenna. On the day of my surgery, the staff at M-Health Wyoming were top notch in the care they provided, including the day I spent in the hospital after the surgery. Sending a big thank you to Sara, Nicole, April, Becca, Grace and Caitlin. You made my stay very comfortable.

Lastly, my knee replacement couldn’t have gone better. Dr. Peterson and his team have given me pain free mobility again. It is amazing to be able to walk, do stairs and even jog with absolutely no knee pain. I will say the rehab is difficult. I told my physical therapist, Curt, that I didn’t like him very much. But I now realize that by him pushing me during those sessions it has benefitted me immensely. If you are dealing with knee pain, please STOP. Give Dr. Peterson a call and let him and his staff do what they do best. I guarantee you will not regret the decision!

My previous knee replacement (with another doctor) not only failed, but also damaged my tibia and twisted my leg. It was necessary to place a rod in my leg and repair my femur and tibia to hold the new replacement. My recovery has been faster and less painful than either of my previous knee replacements. I credit Dr. Bircher‘s skill for making my recovery so swift.

Dr. Saterbak performed bilateral knee replacements in 2016. Thanks to her skill, the quality of my life has been amazing. I am now 76 years old and I am still very active. I have been on numerous scuba diving trips and adventure travels. These have included a trip to the Amazon, the Galápagos Islands and an African Safari. Recently I participated in indoor rock climbing. I’m sure none of these adventures would have been possible without the benefit of her skill as a surgeon. Thank you Dr. Saterbak!

It is obvious to me why I have seen so many amazing and positive reviews of Dr. Meyer on numerous sites throughout Minnesota. Nearly two years since my knee replacement, I feel 20 years younger. I cannot say enough about the entire experience with Dr. Meyer, his team, and the Ridgeview staff. I highly recommend Dr. Meyer.

Dr. Knowlan and his team are nothing short of amazing. My hips and knees were bone on bone and several friends recommended him to me. Normally these procedures would take 4 years, replacing one per year. I didn’t want to deal with it that long, and Dr. Knowlan did all four procedures within a 9 month period. I’m now able to do things I haven’t been able to do for years, like going up and down stairs, crossing my legs, sitting cross legged, and putting on my socks by myself. These things are no big deal to the average person, but a very big deal to someone who can’t do them. I don’t need my scooter or walker anymore. I couldn’t be happier with the results. The team at Eagan Orthopedic Surgery Center and the EXCEL Care Suites were also amazing. I felt like I was treated like royalty. I would do this again in a heartbeat, though I wouldn’t recommend doing the surgeries so close together. I’ve dealt with chronic pain most of my life since I have scoliosis, so the recovery pain wasn’t that big of a deal for me.

I received a left total knee replacement in October 2022. I am totally satisfied with the results.  I have full mobility and no pain. Dr. Szalapski also performed a left shoulder replacement in 2014 and a right shoulder reverse replacement in 2018. Again, the results were 100% satisfaction with no pain and full mobility. I highly recommended Dr. Szalapski!
