Once again, I write this with gratitude for Dr. Hoel. I recently completed my second back fusion due to my degenerative disc disease. The first fusion saved me from a wheelchair. This second fusion saved me from the continued loss of function of my right hand. In just six weeks, my hand strength has started to return. That result was not necessarily going to happen. The goal was simply to stop the progression of the weakness. As with my first fusion, the recovery was very manageable in terms of pain.

Dr Hoel always took the time to be thorough in his explanations. He answered all my questions and was careful in his diagnoses and ordering of tests. His PA, Christina Erdman was always prompt and thorough in returning my email messages. His support staff was also very helpful. I highly recommend Dr Hoel and his team.

Dr. Michalik did a great job identifying and prescribing treatment at my first visit. He provided clear and understandable information. He paid attention to what I had to say. I would recommend him to any one with back issues.

Dr. Omar did a fantastic job on my spine. This surgery, and my hip replacement surgery with Dr. Samuel Carlson, put an end to my severe pain and allowed me to walk again after 6 months in a wheelchair. I most highly recommend TCO. Thanks a million. Kudos!

Tomorrow I go in for my one year post-op appointment for neck surgery. I was beyond nervous but knew this procedure needed to be done. My experience was phenomenal from the very start. The anesthesiologist listened to my past experience and for the first time I had no stomach upset post-surgery. Dr. Deal was exceptional. He was straight forward and explained the entire process. The nurses who cared for me after the procedure were such a blessing. I was in good hands. If I ever have any spine problems, I know where to go. Go to TCO and Dr. Deal. Thank you so very much!

My back surgery went very well. Dr. Banks went above and above and beyond what I expected. Dr. Banks really took the time to give me the best outcome and result possible. My progress has been very good and I am expecting it to continue to improve, thanks to Dr. Banks. I would definitely see him again, if needed, and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I’ve had lumbar pain, stenosis, and herniation that I’ve been dealing with for over thirty years from the hazards of life as a paratrooper when I was a young man. Dr. Davis provided succinct, experienced advice that was informative and helpful. He also did not recommend surgery, which was more helpful in my case. As the adage says for the physician, “first, do no harm.” Dr. Davis places the patient’s well-being above everything else. Thank you!

As a young person with back pain, it can be scary. I have been a patient of Dr. Wanderman for about 8 months and she has been nothing short of incredible. She explains everything well and takes you seriously. She is an advocate and does all she can to help you. Her and the team have the most incredible bedside manner of any physician I’ve ever seen. I would recommend her to anyone 100 times over.

Dr. Bloom is the “real deal!” He listens, he validates, he teaches and a long-term plan is developed by the time you leave his office. His kindness and understanding surrounds his patients and you immediately believe he won’t give up on you.

Dr. Banks gave me my life back! I came to him with two posterior and two anterior cervical surgeries under my belt. I had a CT scan and was told by three different providers that I had a failed fusion. I went to my previous doctor with this information and he told me I was fine (I was not fine). I went for a second opinion with Dr. Banks and he said I wasn’t fine. Four weeks later I had surgery. I will forever be grateful to him for his wisdom, help and caring attitude. While I may have a whole hardware store in my neck, I am hoping to get to enjoy life again.
