I had a wonderful experience. From the time I visited Dr. Jeff Mair before my surgery to my four-month check-up, I was very happy with my care.

Dr. Edward Kelly recently replaced my left shoulder joint, and I am so appreciative of the success after several years of pain. He was very thorough in the recommended preparation before the surgery. Following these procedures, reading the handbook, renting the shoulder ice machine, etc., gave me peace of mind. The same-day outpatient surgery went as scheduled and following it, I had minimal pain for the first month. Now, after the second month, my arm movement is ahead of schedule and pain-free. The recommended physical therapy is going very well. I would send friends to Dr. Kelly for such a surgery.

I “happened” to become a patient of Dr. Edward W. Szalapski at the end of 2023 into 2024, and I am very pleased.

In 2023, a friend had an emergency accident damaging her left shoulder. Dr. Szalapski was assigned as her doctor. I reviewed his background and saw that he did reverse total shoulder replacement! I met with him, and he reviewed the X-rays that the previous doctor had taken. He saw my shoulder needed surgery.

Dr. Szalapski and his team are quick, to the point, thorough, and always ask if I have any questions or concerns. My surgery and recovery have gone well. I recommend and thank Dr. Szalapski.

My shoulder was replaced in August, and by December I could fully elevate my arm. I am very happy I finally had this surgery done. Thanks to Dr. Schmiesing and his staff for a smooth surgery and recovery.

Dr. Mair performed my surgery on a Monday morning and I was home in the afternoon. The following Monday I kept my arm in the sling but I went dancing. After a couple of weeks, I was back to volunteering. I had very little pain and took very few meds. For two weeks I slept in a recliner and iced almost constantly during the day. Once I started rehab, I did daily exercises for about two months and intermittently for about six months. I am so glad I did this surgery. I have complete pain-free movement,  except I can’t quite get my arm completely behind my back, which Dr. Mair had told me before the surgery. I golf, garden, dance, fix my hair, and do everything I want to do. He was so nice to work with. His assistant Cody Plaisance, PA-C was always available and also very helpful and pleasant. Several friends have had various surgeries with Dr. Mair and we all agree he is the greatest!

I received a left total knee replacement in October 2022. I am totally satisfied with the results.  I have full mobility and no pain. Dr. Szalapski also performed a left shoulder replacement in 2014 and a right shoulder reverse replacement in 2018. Again, the results were 100% satisfaction with no pain and full mobility. I highly recommended Dr. Szalapski!

I had total shoulder replacement in May 2022. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Peterson for any type of orthopedic replacement/repair surgery! He’s an all-around great guy; super friendly, confident and very knowledgeable! I did really well after surgery, had wonderful care at TCO Wyoming, and follow-up was the best with Dr. Peterson and his fabulous team.

After years of shoulder pain and decreased mobility I started the process of having shoulder replacement surgery. Dr. Mair was highly recommended by a family member, so I chose to go with him. I went to Dr. Hunt after being referred to him by a friend. My shoulder had deteriorated from osteoarthritis, due to wear and tear brought on by an active lifestyle. I was approaching this procedure with trepidation due to the long recovery time associated with shoulder replacement. I am now 10 weeks past my surgery date and my shoulder is doing great. I am way ahead of where I thought I would be at this time. My 2 month post-op with Dr. Hunt included an X-ray image of my new shoulder joint and everything looked great, with textbook alignment and positioning. I credit Dr. Hunt’s skill and experience with this really good outcome. Regular physical therapy is also key. My other shoulder is next on the list for replacement and I am sure I will be going back to Dr. Hunt.
