After years of shoulder pain and decreased mobility I started the process of having shoulder replacement surgery. Dr. Mair was highly recommended by a family member, so I chose to go with him. I feel it was the best decision. From my first appointment, through surgery and two post-op appointments, Dr. Mair was a real pleasure to work with. My surgery was a total success. I haven’t had any issues and my recovery is ahead of schedule. I always felt I was in great hands and had complete trust in him. It’s amazing to be able to do things I haven’t been able to do for years, and without pain or grinding. The best advice I can give anyone who is on the fence about joint replacement, is to go ahead and get it done. Stop dealing with the pain. I went to Dr. Hunt after being referred to him by a friend. My shoulder had deteriorated from osteoarthritis, due to wear and tear brought on by an active lifestyle. I was approaching this procedure with trepidation due to the long recovery time associated with shoulder replacement. I am now 10 weeks past my surgery date and my shoulder is doing great. I am way ahead of where I thought I would be at this time. My 2 month post-op with Dr. Hunt included an X-ray image of my new shoulder joint and everything looked great, with textbook alignment and positioning. I credit Dr. Hunt’s skill and experience with this really good outcome. Regular physical therapy is also key. My other shoulder is next on the list for replacement and I am sure I will be going back to Dr. Hunt.

After a knee replacement and the second of my two shoulder replacement surgeries, I feel qualified to say that Dr. Kelly and his team (Lindsey Anderson, PA-C and Care Coordinator Kaici Gulbrandson) have made my life so much better than it would ever have been without their incredible work. I cannot envision how Dr. Kelly’s skill as a surgeon could be surpassed anywhere. It is nothing short of incredible. What a gift he is to the Twin Cities!

I am a 72 year old female and had a successful reverse shoulder replacement surgery, performed by Dr. Barry in October 2021. He and his surgery team and the TCO staff were amazing and full of kindness. They listened to my concerns every step of the journey. I went home the same day as the surgery. Every aspect of the prep and surgery was handled in a timely and efficient manner. I felt great at my 6 week checkup. There was minimal pain and lots of arm movement, which I did not have prior to surgery. The physical therapy took 3 months with totally professional therapists that are always putting my well-being first. I recommend Dr. Barry and Twin Cities Orthopedics to everyone.

The results I have from their expertise have given me 100% mobility (and pain-free at that) after the 10 week rehab program! Dr. Murar was so caring and supportive when dealing with my questions and concerns. He is an amazing surgeon and I highly recommend him and his staff if you are ever in need of orthopedic care. My surgery was in July 2021 and it is almost Thanksgiving now. I am at 90% function and “normalcy” in my left shoulder. I am 72 years old so this recover was very unexpected, but I give credit to Dr. Murar, his staff, and the two physical therapists that I had the pleasure of working with!

After a massive rotator cuff tear, Dr. Szalapski recommended a reverse shoulder replacement. He’s a straight shooter and says it like it is. There were no surprises and everything went as discussed.
