I placed my trust in Dr. O’Neill and his staff after carefully researching orthopedic surgeons since I needed a lot of “structural work.” I wanted to be certain I would have the same results with top notch precision. Every replaced joint is working well, in alignment, and I am back to enjoying life with an active supported body. His staff is caring, efficient and prompt in responding to questions and concerns I’ve had over the course of five years.

I have been a patient of Dr. Joseph Bert since 2016. From day one, I felt a caring relationship with him. It was as if Dr. Bert was my son’s best friend and he promised my son he would take good care of me. He makes me feel special! He has a wonderful gift of making the patient feel comfortable and deserving of his attention. Dr. Bert is an excellent listener and makes you feel that your health does matter to him. You’re not just another body.

Dr. Bert has always been considering a better or more economical treatment for my arthritis. I have known Dr. Bert’s Care Coordinator, Jesse G. for as long as I have known Dr. Bert. My experience with Jesse has been equally rewarding in the way she makes me feel comfortable and significant. She is dedicated to her profession and continues furthering her career through higher education. I admire her for this. Jesse, like Dr. Bert makes me feel special. Together they are an awesome team. It’s a good day for me when I know I’m going to see Dr. Bert and Jesse. They make me feel good and that’s so welcomed in today’s world.

Dr. Fischer and his team were great!  I was anxious going in, but they were so relaxed and put on country music for me to listen to so my anxiety quickly went down.  The way they talked with me throughout the whole procedure made me feel calm and in good hands.  I went grocery shopping with my husband after the procedure and slept so well that night.  The fact that I didn’t need strong pain medications, just a few Advil is amazing!  I just talked with another stylist here that has a claim with her shoulder and wrist and was diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.  She told me her provider said she needs an EMG and would be off work for 1 month just after having her carpal tunnel surgery.  She couldn’t believe I didn’t have an EMG and that I was back to work in 4 days!  In our industry, taking 1 month off is scary as we can lose clients.  They will go somewhere else for a haircut or nail appointment.  But a week off – there is no risk of that.  I told her she needs to see Dr. Fischer.

It’s been three months since my anterior hip replacement surgery, and I couldn’t be happier with Dr. O’Neill, his team, the EXCEL program, and my new hip. Every stage of my experience with Dr. O’Neill and his team was positive.

It started with my first appointment when he explained my condition, options, and an overview of how he performs hip replacements. My surgery was scheduled and during the three months wait, I received guidance from his staff on how to prepare through a mailed packet of program information and an online Zoom meeting. This preparation was very educational and provided me with added confidence in the EXCEL program as well as Dr. O’Neill and his team.

On surgery day, the friendly staff ran everything very efficiently. The surgery proceeded without any problems, and I had no complications. As part of the EXCEL program, I stayed overnight at their Edina Care Suites where I was cared for by wonderful nurses and a physical therapist who aided with my initial recovery. This overnight stay helped me feel more stable so I could return home confident with my balance and ability to walk. My care nurses were attentive and thorough, really just plain outstanding.

During my post-surgery recovery period, I gained stability, flexibility, and strength each day. I followed my post-surgery medication and exercise program at home with the prescribed daily routine. I needed to use a cane for only three days and within weeks I was taking neighborhood walks (about a mile or so) with a full stride. Now my hip doesn’t buckle, I no longer walk with a hitch in my step, and I have returned to my regular workout routine.

In summary, I’m very grateful for the EXCEL program, the surgery team, the staff, but especially the knowledge and skill of Dr. O’Neill.

I had an incredible experience with Dr. TJ Ridley. From the first time we met to look at options for my left hip, Dr. Ridley was professional, insightful, patient and knowledgeable. He has a wonderful team at TCO and my recovery and PT with the EXCEL Program was incredible. I highly recommend Dr. Ridley for anything orthopedic related. Dr. Ridley has a way about him that gave me great confidence and comfort.

I suffered from severe knee pain, which significantly impacted my quality of life. Dr. Bircher performed total knee replacement surgery, which allowed me to regain my ability to climb stairs, exercise, and do my usual chores. Before the surgery, I researched Dr. Bircher and discovered that he had received his training at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic, where he became their chief resident. Then, following his residency, he took an orthopedic fellowship with the Cleveland Clinic. With such impressive credentials, I felt confident entrusting him to perform my knee replacement surgery. I was so impressed by his compassionate, warm manner. He made me feel well cared for. At just over three months post-surgery, I look forward to gardening again. Thank you, Dr. Bircher.

Dr. Mair performed my surgery on a Monday morning and I was home in the afternoon. The following Monday I kept my arm in the sling but I went dancing. After a couple of weeks, I was back to volunteering. I had very little pain and took very few meds. For two weeks I slept in a recliner and iced almost constantly during the day. Once I started rehab, I did daily exercises for about two months and intermittently for about six months. I am so glad I did this surgery. I have complete pain-free movement,  except I can’t quite get my arm completely behind my back, which Dr. Mair had told me before the surgery. I golf, garden, dance, fix my hair, and do everything I want to do. He was so nice to work with. His assistant Cody Plaisance, PA-C was always available and also very helpful and pleasant. Several friends have had various surgeries with Dr. Mair and we all agree he is the greatest!

I cannot thank Dr. Deal enough for the procedure he performed on me. I went to see him with sciatica pain down my left leg and into my foot. When I came to in the surgery center, the pain was gone. It felt like a miracle! I loved the staff at the surgery center as well. TCO is great!

The road to pain-free life started after my hip surgery. I can do the simple things in life again like walking, getting into a car, and getting dressed. Dr. Arntson and his team were excellent before, and after the procedure.

For over two years, the pain in my right knee grew to where it limited a lot of my activities. It was especially painful walking and going up and down the stairs. Dr. Lewis and his PA, Libby, helped decrease the pain with steroid injections. When that no longer helped, we decided I needed a knee replacement. At the end of January, I went to TCO Chaska. In every step of the process I was treated with respect and kindness. Everything that was going to happen was thoroughly explained. I was confident in my surgeon and his team. I trusted them completely. Surgery was a complete success. I was up walking and had physical therapy the day of surgery.

I’m walking around the lakes with my friends and enjoying every step. My knee feels stronger than it has in years. The best part is there’s no pain. Thank you, Dr. Lewis and Libby, for giving me my active pain free life back. I highly recommend Dr. Lewis. Life is so much more enjoyable when you aren’t in pain.
