Prior to the surgery with Dr. Kelly, my ability to walk comfortably was hit or miss. And even on the best days, the first several steps after sitting were slow, stiff & difficult. Following a bi-lateral total knee replacement, I’m back to fitness walking with no distance limits or pain. I don’t have to worry about a knee giving out while descending stairs, and I’m able to do essentially all the things I’ve enjoyed throughout my life.

I had refused to seriously consider taking any action for my knee. Dr. Kruse was the first doctor that I felt cared about my care and my future. He gave me hope for the first time in years that I can have my life back!

The EXCEL program at TCO took a tough knee procedure and made it easier. From Dr. Meyer to every nurse and staff member, they exceeded my expectations. The physical therapy team of Mike and Nikki were amazing! Keep up the great work you do!

Following my total knee replacement with Dr. Christopher Meyer, I got my life back!! All in all an excellent experience in every way.

This is the second knee replacement with Dr. Meyer and both of them could not have gone better. I was fortunate to have very little pain, and mobility of knee came rather quickly. I am now blessed with good knees that will allow me to have a lifestyle that doesn’t include limping.

I absolutely cannot say enough good about Dr. Eggert and his team, Adam & Tammy. My son tore his ACL, MCL and meniscus, two weeks into his junior-year football season. Dr. Eggert performed the surgery to repair his knee. Dr. Eggert is knowledgeable, a skilled surgeon and empathetic to the patient and their situation. I appreciate the fact that Dr. Eggert always took the time to answer our questions to our understanding. We knew going into the surgery that the road to recovery would be long. The communication and follow-up between Dr. Eggert, his team, the physical therapists and my son was excellent. While I’d hope we don’t need his services in the future, I wouldn’t see anyone else!

I had a lot of cleanup surgeries over the past 43 years. When it was time for the total knee operation, Dr. Knowlan did an awesome job. I had no pain and bed side matter was great. Thanks Dr. Knowlan!

My son was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army, stationed in Honolulu, when he suffered a severe knee injury. He had 2 unsuccessful surgeries over 2 years in the Army and was eventually medically retired. My son was extremely active prior to his injury, but after the injury and surgeries, he was left unable to do the things he enjoyed. Just a casual walk was painful and difficult.

After some extensive research, we found Dr. LaPrade and TCO. We made the trip to Minnesota, had a successful surgery and one week’s worth of physical therapy, and then returned to South Carolina. Fast forward 8 weeks, and my son is walking pain free, once again optimistic about his future, looking forward to resuming an active life, and pursuing his post-military career.

The thank you list is extensive, and I’ll surely miss someone. Let’s just say it is most definitely a team effort, and Dr. LaPrade and his entire team were a God-send. Thank you for giving him back the quality of life he deserves.

Every day I get up and say “NO MORE PAIN!” At age 77 I’m back to doing the activities I enjoy! It wasn’t easy but the outcome was terrific! My love of ice skating and snowshoeing is now in sight. Dr. Owen O’Neill and his staff were so patient answering all of my questions from the first visit, after surgery, and during the follow up visits. I have one more knee to go but with prayers and Dr. O’Neill, I’ll be ready!

In May of 2019 I had a total knee operation done at a different practice. Three months later I was having issues and went back to the same doctor. He said he didn’t know what it was and that I should come back in one year. I returned twice in June of 2020. Again, my doctor said he didn’t know what it was and that I should get a 2nd opinion. Then he left the room.

That’s when my therapist from TCO recommended that I see Dr. Owen O’Neill. Dr. O’Neill recommended arthroscopy. I had the procedure and now the pain, crunching, etc. is gone. I will never go to another practice. Dr. O’Neill, TCO and the entire staff have been a blessing. I wish that I could give them all a hug.
