Four years ago, I broke my femur in a winter accident. The bone snapped, and Dr. Jason Holm surgically repaired it. I was terrified that I wouldn’t run again. As a 56-year-old woman, I’d been jogging for 40 years. The surgery was a huge success, and Dr. Hold assured me I could run a marathon again in the future. He was right. I was back to running within a few months, ran a half marathon five months later, and just completed a second post-injury marathon (with a great time). My leg is stronger than ever, and I am eternally thankful for Dr. Holm.

I was referred to Dr. O’Neill by another orthopedic doctor who felt the best way to fix all that was wrong with my hip was to replace it. At 56 years old, a hip replacement certainly was not on my radar. Dr. O’Neill and his team were incredibly kind and took the time to answer all my questions and encouraged me to take all the time I needed to make a decision.

I am so grateful to have my life back and be able to do all the things I enjoy!! The surgery and the EXCEL program were amazing! I was walking without the assistive device on day 3. I also rented the NICE machine, and it was a game changer for icing after surgery. I drove 2.5 hours one way to see Dr O’Neill and would do it again, if needed. After surgery in January, I was able to start physical therapy with Brett Petersen a month later. Not only did I appreciate his honesty in my recovery, but his personalized treatment plan for me was motivating and thorough. Each week he listened and provided me with new exercises to aid in my recovery so I could return to normal activities. I’m grateful for all Brett did for me.

I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my hip replacement surgery. Dr O’Neill and his staff were exceptional. I am nine weeks post-operation and am able to walk 5-6 miles per day without pain. I would highly recommend Dr O’Neill for anyone needing a hip replacement.

I was recommended to Dr. O’Neill when it was determined I needed a hip replacement, and I am forever grateful for that recommendation. Dr. O’Neill performed anterior hip replacement surgery and answered all of my questions. The care Dr. O’Neill and his team provide is wonderful. In less than two weeks I could handle any discomfort with just Tylenol and Ibuprofen. It has now been ten weeks since surgery and I can go about all my normal activities, including golf and extended walks. Dr. Meisterling and his team were outstanding for my hip replacement procedure and my postoperative care! I have no pain, and the rehab went extremely well. If anyone is thinking of having this procedure done, I highly recommend Dr. Meisterling and his team! My family and I would like to thank them for giving me a huge part of my life back! The ability to spend time with my family and friends outdoors and not be in any discomfort is priceless!

I received anterior hip replacement surgery from Dr. Arntson. After the surgery, all my previous pain was gone, and there was no new pain. I am one happy patient.

I had my total hip replacement surgery performed by Dr. Ridley. Through the entire process, he explained the procedure step-by-step and what I should expect. He was there to talk with me before the surgery and right afterwards to see how I was feeling. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. I had no pain afterwards and my physical activities are nearly back to normal 60 days post-surgery.

In February I finally scheduled my hip replacement surgery. I was in so much discomfort and pain. This was my first time at TCO, and I was assigned to Dr. Bircher. After my first exam with him I knew I was in good hands. I had my surgery, and it was the best thing I could’ve done for myself. Dr. Bircher was phenomenal, he did a great job and I have no complaints. I’d also like to compliment his assistant, Kari Gabrielse, on her professionalism and her care. They are a dynamic duo and if by chance I would need the other hip replaced, I will be asking for this duo to do the job. I had a great experience with Dr. Nessler and his staff. He is very patient and thorough with assessments and what my expectation should be.
