Dr. Hartigan saw me for both knees and shoulder. He was impressive and had such a great way of communicating and putting me at ease. He helped me with an exercise program that brought my knees back to being able to hike and exercise again. He also ordered an injection for my shoulder that I haven’t had any further issue with. Thank you Dr. Hartigan for getting me back on my game!

Four years ago, I was experiencing some hip discomfort on my right side. I just assumed it was because of my active lifestyle and some muscle soreness. There were 2 people I worked with that both had hip replacements from Dr. Owen O’Neill, so they encouraged me to seek him out. Sure enough, there was some arthritis that was causing that discomfort. I endured it for 4 years because it was never that painful. However, it reached a “bone-on-bone” stage where it needed replacing. I was prepared for the worst in my mind, but the entire process was so smooth and worry free, that it was hard to believe I actually had a major surgical procedure. I was up on my feet and off the walker within 3-4 days. Swimming, walking and riding my bike within 3 weeks, and back to golfing at 8 weeks. I jokingly asked Dr. O’Neill if my golf game would improve after this procedure, and he said if it did, he would like to take credit for that as well and maybe start marketing his services in that manner. Let me say that my golf game is no better, but no worse, as I am back taking some much needed golf lessons. The entire staff at TCO has been absolutely top notch all around!

Dr. Stephen Olmsted is thorough, knowledgeable, very kind and compassionate. He focuses on you as a patient and is extremely professional. He is a very skillful surgeon and I had an excellent experience with him recently. His staff is so very supportive and friendly, and along with Dr. Olmsted, they make a great team. I highly recommend Dr. Olmsted!

At the beginning, all children are scared of their parents having surgery and then we met Dr. Crowe. He put all our fears behind us and took amazing care of my mother. My mother is very happy with the treatment she got. Dr. Crowe was on top of things, always had her best interest in mind, and I never felt that she was at risk. I’m grateful for Dr. Crowe, the knowledge he has and the professionalism he displayed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!  5 out of 5!

My wife and I both suffered from severe arthritis in our thumbs. We both followed Dr. Fischer’s non-surgical treatment plan, and ultimately took his advice to have the related surgery. With each of us having the surgery on both of our thumbs, we carefully timed them to give each hand recovery time between surgeries. Between the two of us, we have always had one functional hand! Today we both have the function of our thumbs back, without the arthritic pain that had severely limited our daily activities. Long story short, and four thumbs later, we are both grateful to Dr. Fischer for his surgical skills to give us back the function of our hands, and his excellent staff that took care of all the administrative, physical therapy and nursing details.

After 10 years of increased pain and loss of flexibility, I decided to see a surgeon about my hip. Dr. Sanders assured me I was a good candidate for total hip replacement. The operation and recovery went amazingly well! After two months, I decided to have my second hip done because the first one went so well. I am walking pain-free and have better flexibility than I have had in years. Dr. Sanders and his team did an amazing job for me!

After a knee replacement and the second of my two shoulder replacement surgeries, I feel qualified to say that Dr. Kelly and his team (Lindsey Anderson, PA-C and Care Coordinator Kaici Gulbrandson) have made my life so much better than it would ever have been without their incredible work. I cannot envision how Dr. Kelly’s skill as a surgeon could be surpassed anywhere. It is nothing short of incredible. What a gift he is to the Twin Cities!

I’ve always been an athlete and at almost 57, the advanced osteoarthritis impacted my quality of life. Dr. O’Neill was very straight forward with my options. I highly recommend Dr. O’Neill for total hip replacement and wish I’d done it sooner! I’m now able to walk without pain or a limp, stand up without pain and was able to return to biking and CrossFit after 8 weeks. I can even cover 2 miles in 32 minutes when walking and haven’t walked that fast in years! I’m in a better mood and overall happier without the chronic pain and limitations.

After much thought and several examinations by different care givers, it was clear that my right hip required replacement. I’m 74 years old and the thought of total hip replacement was daunting. I was worried about how quickly I would heal and be able to walk again without pain. I decided to go with Dr. Lewis for the surgery. The surgery went well thanks to Dr. Lewis and the care giving by the team was very good. Three weeks after surgery I was walking without any aids. I am very happy with the results; thank you Dr. Lewis and team!
