I am so pleased and grateful to Dr. Coetzee and his team. As an extremely active person with a very serious injury, I knew that finding the right surgeon would be important to return me to the activities that I love and are important to me. I’m thrilled to be back to my sports, including long distance running, which I never thought I’d be able to do again. I was in so much pain prior to the surgery I wasn’t able to do much of anything. I no longer have that pain and am able to do everything I’m allowed at this point. It’s wonderful to be without pain.

I was in terrible, debilitating pain due to a herniated L5-S1. I was in pain for almost 4 months and it affected every aspect of my life. Three weeks after surgery, I felt no more pain and started getting back to all of my normal activities. Dr. DuBois gave me my life back! Thank you!

This was my second surgery with Dr. McGarvey. When I needed this surgery, I called my cousin in Washington, who is the foot surgeon for the Seattle Seahawks football team. He said, “The only surgeon you should have do it is Scott McGarvey.” He was right, Dr. McGarvey is exceptional! I know this because I have had three other joint surgeries to compare it to. Dr. McGarvey not only listens to your concerns but he remembers them and then takes care of them. He has a PHENOMENAL memory. I have and will continue to highly recommend Dr. McGarvey!

Dr. Wetter did a great job on my hip replacements, which were life changing for me, because of the level 10 pain I was having. After surgery the pain was almost zero. The PT staff at Mercy hospital and nursing staff made the rehab very tolerable. Thanks to Dr. Wetter, I am walking!

Dr. Duncan was absolutely fantastic. He gave me all of the info regarding this surgery, listened to me and answered all my questions before surgery and during my hospital stay. He also stopped to see me each day and all the recheck visits. He’s patient, attentive, concerned, informative and always has a smile when seeing him. I feel he is the best in his field and has helped me get through this scary procedure & recovery!

Thank you, Dr. Lewis and Libby, for the excellent care! In the past year, I have had both knees replaced with great success. I am now 10 weeks post-op of the second replacement and I am already doing things physically that I haven’t been able to do in over 10 years. Dr. Lewis is kind, caring, honest, knowledgeable and competent. I greatly appreciated that he and Libby always took the time to answer my questions and provide me with options for my care. Dr. Lewis didn’t try to “persuade” me to have surgery but initially used more conservative practices to treat my knee issues. When the time came for me to proceed with replacement surgery, there was no doubt in my mind who I would trust to do the surgery. I can’t thank Dr. Lewis and Libby enough for providing such great care.

I suffered a serious bike accident in July. Broken clavicle, Dr. Anseth referred me to Dr. Norberg. So thankful! He provided exemplary care of my broken bone, making me have hope that I would ride and ski again. Took necessary time to determine my path for a positive outcome. Location of fracture, my age, etc. have been factors resulting in a non-union of the bone, with significant fibrous tissue connecting the bone. Full range of motion, no pain, no limit to my activities…and no desire for surgery. Dr. Norberg and I have decided, unless my situation changes, no surgery is required. Again, so thankful for his wise consultation and care.
