In December of 2016, Dr. Owen O’Neill performed an anterior hip replacement for me and I couldn’t have asked for a better result. I was walking without any assistance upon discharge and was methodically able to clear a light dusting of snow the next day (I like a clean sidewalk). After one week I was able to walk up to 3 miles. After two weeks I was able to do 5 miles. Of course, there was the usual inflammation & soreness that I felt at the end of each day because of the healing process but it’s just walking. I was able to go further each day without a problem. After 10 weeks, I hiked down from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon to Phantom Ranch and back out the next day. I highly recommend this trip and am looking forward to doing it again someday. A friend of mine had the same surgery as I did this year and she has had the same success that I have. I highly recommend the anterior approach because you’ll be back on your feet immediately.

It is really hard explain just how talented Dr. Owen O’Neill and his staff are. I had been in pain for a long time before surgery. The surgery was a life saver because there wasn’t much that I could do anymore. Within a week post-surgery, I already had less pain that before surgery and after 3 weeks, I was walking without pain. At six weeks, I was back in the gym riding the bike, walking on the treadmill, and using the elliptical machine. I highly recommend Dr. O’Neill to anyone experiencing hip problems. He will get you on the right path to recovery.

I am a 53 year old lifelong athlete. At this stage, I enjoy running, biking, skiing, and cross fit. I was referred to Dr. Langer after several years of periodic severe bilateral Achilles Tendonitis. Any time I would exercise it was incredibly painful and both sides of my foot were swollen and painful to the touch. I gave up running. I underwent 3 shock wave therapies, PT and followed the rest and daily workout regime. After 6 months, I am pain free for the first time in years. I have resumed light running without any pain. Shock wave therapy works.

If you have the unfortunate diagnosis of “Frozen Shoulder”, schedule a hydroplasty procedure with Dr. Allan Hunt. I was diagnosed in about 10 minutes and had an appointment for the hydroplasty 2 weeks later. After some initially pretty painful physical therapy sessions, I am completely cured! I suffered for 3 months with no shoulder mobility, sleep disturbance because of the aching joint and shooting pains when I moved too abruptly. The second day after my procedure, I was back in yoga class! I couldn’t be happier with the results. It’s absolutely amazing. I’ve had friends that are messing around with cortisone shots and therapy and getting nowhere. Don’t wait any longer in miserable pain – get the procedure done! You will be so happy you did.

Dr. Bjerke and his staff (Katie, Patrick, Andria) were very caring and professional. In determining that my knee pain was resonating from the hip, they first eliminated a number of potential causes focused on the knee. I was pushing for knee replacement, but their assessment of my knee structure as good led them to examine previous x-rays on the hip that indicated significant arthritis. That assessment led to hip injections that eliminated the pain and no surgery was required, all thanks to their pursuit of the actual cause.

I herniated a disc in my C spine in the fall and experienced terrible pain and numbness down my right arm. I saw Dr. Bjerke, who immediately got MRIs done and recommended rest, then a course of PT. He did an excellent job. I feel completely better and I just completed a 1/2 marathon. I am thankful to TCO for helping me when I was so worried a few months back!

My testimonial is that I was in so much pain when I went in to see Dr. Szalapski. He informed me that I needed a hip replacement, which I tried very hard to avoid. In the end, I had no choice but to have my hip replaced. I am so glad Dr. Szalapski was the one do perform my hip replacement but now my horrible pain is gone and I am already looking forward to a healthier lifestyle. The care that I received from the Dr. Szalapski and his staff was very outstanding. A job well done.

Dr. Szalapski has replaced both of my knees and one tendon repair for my shoulder. He has also replaced both hips and a knee for my wife. Her other knee is set for replacement next month! The results of each of these surgeries have been quite rewarding, with NO complications. I would highly recommend considering Dr. Szalapski for any surgeries that involve a joint repair or replacement. A no nonsense Dr. that will give you the facts without the pressure to proceed.

I’ve had some debilitating back and right hip issues and finally found Dr. Crowe. He actually listened and spent time trying to figure out what was going on. After an X-ray, it was determined I have some degenerative spine issues. He suggested trying an epidural spine shot and after a month it started feeling better. Now, I have started exercising again. It may come back but now I feel I’ve found a doctor who will listen and be there for me when it flares back up again. My next step is to strengthen my core and get back in shape to lessen any future issues. Thanks Dr. Crowe.
