I was somewhat hesitant to have knee replacement surgery, but over time despite other treatment options and PT, it seemed like the logical option. Of course, any surgery is unpleasant, but overall I have been VERY satisfied with the results and the care I received from Dr. Kelly and all of the medical professionals/trainers I dealt with along the way. The post-op PT is unwelcome at first, but within days my pain was reminiscing and my range of motion increasing. Over the following weeks my mobility increased and I had the other knee replaced. The second knee actually felt less painful and recovery was a bit smoother. It has now been two years. I followed all the instructions, completed all of the PT and am EXTREMELY happy with the results. My mobility has increased substantially and my quality of life is markedly improved. Before having the knee replacements, I would dread stairs. Even walking up and down and incline would be painful. Simple things such as light yard work or housework were quite burdensome. Not I have no pain, considerably more energy and care on a much more normal life.

I had a long term injury that ended up tearing two weeks after giving birth. I went into TCO Urgent Care and was seen within a half hour! The staff were super helpful and urgent care was a breeze. I was also able to schedule my surgery with Dr. Szalapski within two weeks of being seen initially! I was in and out of the surgery room within just a couple of hours and walking the next day. I highly recommend TCO’s specialties and Orthopedic Urgent Care. The entire process was easy and stress-free, which was much needed while having a newborn at home!

Dr. Kelly and his PA, Lindsey Anderson, make a wonderful team. They answered all my questions and would spend as much time as needed to do so. I never felt pushed into doing the surgery, but when the time was right, they were with me. I would work with them again anytime. They are upfront and honest and provide genuine care for their patients.

The staff at Dr. Chris Meyer’s office did an excellent job working with me. They answered all my questions in a prompt and efficient manner. They returned my calls and answered questions with clear, easy to understand answers. Dr. Meyer did an exceptionally great job on my knee. I had very little pain and quick rehab. Thanks to all the staff and a shout out to Dr. Meyer!

Dr. Lewis replaced both of my knees, one year apart from each other, and he and his staff are rock stars. He also did my wife’s knee replacement. I also want to say that his assistant,Libby, is the best. I would definitely recommend him and Libby for your orthopedic needs. I developed scar tissue in both knees and Dr. Lewis said a small number of patients get this and that it’s common. They both made noise and hurt when getting up from a sitting position. It was about a 20 minute procedure and they are perfect. Many thanks Dr. Lewis and Libby. You guys are great.

In January my husband and I were in a pretty significant snowmobile accident that resulted in multiple injuries— all of which Dr. Ridley provided treatment for. After explaining the pain and swelling I was experiencing in my elbow and knees, Dr. Ridley was extremely proactive in ordering MRI’s to ensure everything was assessed thoroughly. During my follow up appointment, Dr. Ridley took the time to talk through the MRI results in a way that was easily understandable. He made sure any and all of my questions were answered before recommending a treatment plan. I was so impressed by how knowledgeable and thorough Dr. Ridley was in my care across all injuries. I was especially impressed when he took the time to reach out after my appointments to see how I was doing. Overall, Dr. Ridley’s extensive knowledge, excellent communication, and genuine care for his patients make him one of a kind. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Ridley to anyone looking for orthopedic care!

My total knee replacement with Dr. Kelly went well and physical therapy is a grind but I’m getting there. I am gaining range of motion and strength every day!

I am now at 6 weeks post-op from a total knee replacement with Dr. Christopher Meyer and I am certainly feeling as good as I did six weeks pre-op. I expect I will recover endurance and increase muscle tone as I continue to work back into shape. I’ve had knee problems since the age of 14 and have had three surgeries before this one. I am now 56. I feel that six weeks from now, with the consistent work and positive mental attitude, I will have more use of the lower body and better overall quality of life then I have had for many years.

Dr. Kelly and Lindsay made my knee replacement surgery a very comfortable and successful procedure. Before surgery, I was not able to do the physical activities that I wanted and fixing my knee has made it possible to do almost anything I want. I would highly recommend their care. They helped my decide the right time in my life to get the surgery done.

My experience with Dr. Michael Meisterling and his entire team was excellent. Dr. Meisterling is a very skilled surgeon. He has assembled a remarkable team. Each and everyone one of them I found to be skilled, kind, considerate and helpful in every way. My left knee replacement was on 11-24-20 at Osceola Medical Center. My right knee replacement was on 1-19-21 at Lakeview Hospital. Both facilities were also excellent. If I were to give Dr. Meisterling a score of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best, I would give him a 10+. Myrna J.
