I was unsure about having my right shoulder replaced but with the pain I was in and recommendations from others, I decided to go ahead and have the surgery. Immediately following surgery, I didn’t have much pain. I know I would have to work at getting my strength and mobility back, which was note easy but well worth it. Dr. Kelly and his team were very professional and positive, always friendly and made everything clear. The physical therapist was very good and with all of the work, I now have good strength and mobility. Dr. Kelly did a great job on my shoulder!

At 51 years old, having to have total shoulder replacement surgery is a bit shocking and humbling. The surgery, care and professionalism I received however, has been very positive and successful. I feel fortunate and look forward to the prospective of using my shoulder again for normal activities like reaching above shoulder height, lifting with normal strength and swimming again. For so long, I tolerated the pain and worked around my immobility. I’m young and should not be under such restrictions so it is actually exciting that I won’t have to suffer and live like that anymore. I’m very happy I had this surgery done with Dr. Kelly!
