I want to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Wulf and his team for the excellent care I received a little over a year ago. Several years ago I had a TIA (mini-stroke) and fell directly onto my right shoulder resulting in a torn rotator cuff. It went undiagnosed until my visit with Dr. Wulf. Just by manipulating and feeling my shoulder on the first visit, he told me I had a very large tear and it had been there for a long time. I was thrilled to learn the surgery could be done arthroscopically. It has been a little over a year since my operation, and as a 73-year old, I cannot believe how normal and strong my shoulder feels. The results were far beyond my expectations. I just finished washing all the windows in my house and had no pain during or after such strenuous activity. One thing special about Dr. Wulf is his positive and caring bedside manner. He always looked me directly in the eye when communicating and took my concerns seriously. His skill and expertise as a surgeon are beyond compare. I would recommend him to anyone.

Prior to surgery, the right shoulder pain was excruciating and use of the arm was limited at best. I could not lift the arm past elbow height. After surgery, the pain was immediately relieved. After a month of rehab, pain was gone and movement of the shoulder and right arm was nearly normal again. I had pain-free movement that I hadn’t had in years. After nearly a year, the surgery is nearly forgotten and life and activities have increased. Thank you Dr. Dieterle for helping me to get back to being pain free.

I had a torn ligament in my left shoulder that was causing me a lot of pain. I was losing strength in my arm and couldn’t sleep due to the constant pain. I was worried the injury would require surgery. I began physical therapy with Mike Stay. Mike identified my physical limitations and started me on physical therapy that increased my strength and range of motion. He knew how far to proceed with stretching and strengthening exercises so that I could work through the pain and regain the strength in my shoulder and arm. It took a few visits but everything Mike had me practice worked very well. I regained my full strength and range of motion. The exercises Mike had me do are something I can continue to do to improve my strength and endurance. I very much appreciate what he helped me work through and I would highly recommend him to people in need of physical therapy to get their lives back to normal.

After two years of continued pain in my left shoulder, my family doctor set me up with an appointment with Dr. Norberg. He found I needed a reverse shoulder replacement. His thoroughness in all aspects was noticeable from the start. When I asked him how long the operation would take, his comment was “As long as it takes to be perfect”. That’s when I knew I was having the right person do the surgery. He takes the time to answer all your questions and is very good at explaining in layman’s terms what’s going on. If the time comes when I need my right shoulder replaced, I’ll have him do that one too.

Visited TCO in late November 2019 and saw Dr. Hunt for a sore shoulder. I thought it was related to an old rotor cuff repair but instead was a wore out joint. I had the shoulder replacement done 12/11/19 and was home in one day. Other than the surgical block I needed no other pain meds. Dr. Hunt and the EXCEL Program were great.

Dr. Dieterle set realistic expectations and exceeded them all. I had very little pain during this process and on a much faster recovery cycle than expected. The PT team is outstanding, and the results achieved to date could not have been achieved without the surgery and PT team’s well coordinated efforts.

I am definitely glad I had my rotator cuff repair done with Dr. Dieterle.

I had a severe tear in my 76 year old shoulder. Dr. Frank Norberg did an outstanding job of repairing the tear. I have great range of motion and I am free of pain. The shoulder now functions as it did before the injury. In addition to an excellent outcome, Dr. Norberg was great to work with. He was direct, straight-forward and a good motivator. I would highly recommend him for shoulder problems to any family member or friend.

From the first phone call to make an appointment EVERYONE was friendly, helpful and compassionate. I’m 80 years of age and needed a reverse shoulder replacement. Dr. Mair and his staff took the extra time to discuss my options and ultimately let me make the decision. Although this was not HIS first time doing shoulder surgery, it was MY first time and I felt he took all the time I needed to answer questions and reassure me that all would go well… and it DID! He, the hospital staff, everyone was so caring and understanding. My daughter went to the cafeteria to get lunch and a hospital staff person, that was in line behind her, paid for her lunch! So when I say everyone, I mean everyone 🙂 I cannot say enough about Dr. Jeffery Mair, and everyone who works with him, for their wonderful care and thoughtfulness. I will definitely recommend this doctor and this facility to anyone I know that needs his expertise! Thank you SO much! I’m glad it’s all done and I can start my physical therapy and look forward to having a pain free shoulder.

After not being able to perform even simple tasks with my right arm, physical therapy did not help. The reverse shoulder replacement was performed by Dr. Dieterle and the pain relief was immediate. Function of the shoulder was better with therapy. After 6 months post surgery, I have movement I have not had in 5 years and it improves daily. I can move and perform tasks over my head that I could not do previously. Shoulder does fatigue after a long day but it improves daily.
