Thank you to Dr. Hofkens for completing the procedure on my shoulder. He removed calcium deposits on my rotator cuff which was contacting my bicep tendon causing significant pain and weakness. The procedure was a HUGE success, and I can now move, and use left shoulder without any issues. I have been dealing with the pain and weakness for almost a year. After an MRI and months of physical therapy with no improvement prior to the surgery, the procedure was completed. Within a few days, my shoulder was back to normal. I appreciate and value the expertise and precision of Dr. Hofkens!

I began physical therapy with Seth Enberg and Jared Hansen after my rotator cuff repair. Both are seasoned clinicians in the PT field. I am very pleased with how my therapy is going so I can get back to work. We have great communication, and Seth and Jared truly listen to my goals so we can work to where I want to be at the end of my therapy journey. I highly recommend them both.

Dr. Barry was able to see me as a new patient right away. I had tried to deal with my shoulder pain on my own and had restricted movement for a few months prior to seeing him. He was very thorough and came up with a plan right away. Ultimately surgery was needed but Dr. Barry is meticulous. I am five weeks post rotator cuff repair surgery and have been doing physical therapy at Twin Cities Orthopedics. Things are going well. His team, Rebecca Munson, PA-C and Jeni Olson have been amazing. I have already started recommending Dr. Barry and his team to family, friends, and coworkers in my industry.

I’m a single, empty-nester mom, work in real estate, and stay active. I run, lift weights, golf, and keep up with my daughter’s college hockey schedule. I don’t have time to slow down.

I joined a weekend kickball tournament for something fun and social. While chasing a ball, I fell and separated my shoulder. I tried to let it heal on its own, and Dr. David Hartigan actually supported that decision. He told me that if he were in my shoes, he would wait and see. That meant a lot because it showed he cared about what was best for me, not just rushing into surgery. When it became clear that surgery was the right option, he walked me through the entire plan.

Dr. Hartigan explained what the procedure would involve and answered every question I had. I never felt rushed. He always made me feel like my concerns mattered. After the initial surgery, I had a freak accident and broke my clavicle again. It was a frustrating setback, and I needed another procedure.

Even through that second surgery, I never felt alone. Dr. Hartigan and the entire TCO team continued to be supportive and positive, which made a big difference during a tough time. Five weeks before my half-marathon, I got the green light to start running again. The next day, I ran 10 miles. That race became a symbol of everything I had overcome. Crossing the finish line with my daughter by my side was emotional and empowering. It felt like I was finally leaving the pain and recovery behind me.

Today, I’m back in the gym and lifting weights. I feel strong and like myself again. Dr. Hartigan is more than a talented surgeon. He’s an incredible human being. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Kelly repaired my rotator cuff a few years ago and recently replaced one of my knee joints. Both surgeries went flawlessly. I will be forever thankful for his meticulous professionalism, kind bedside manner, and sunny disposition.

I have been a patient at Twin Cities Orthopedics for 30+ years. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Jason Barry and Rebecca Munson in March 2023. Dr. Barry has treated me for bilateral rotator cuff pain and bilateral knee issues. In March 2024, I underwent my first reverse right total shoulder replacement. In April 2025, I had the same procedure done on my left shoulder. Now, I just had my right total knee replacement in Sept 2025.

I was very apprehensive of having my right knee replacement because I had my left total knee replaced in 2019 by a different surgeon. I continue to have nothing but pain from that surgery. I don’t know what the difference between the two knee replacements are, but I am so happy with the outcome of my right knee replacement. I have the utmost faith and confidence in Dr. Barry and his team. To say they care about their patients is an understatement. I am a retired nurse, and their team has some of the best, most competent physician/PA staff I know. I want to recognize Abby White for her outstanding care and support throughout my therapy. From start to finish, she has been encouraging, attentive, and always ready to help fine-tune my exercises or ensure proper form.
