I had a severe tear in my 76 year old shoulder. Dr. Frank Norberg did an outstanding job of repairing the tear. I have great range of motion and I am free of pain. The shoulder now functions as it did before the injury. In addition to an excellent outcome, Dr. Norberg was great to work with. He was direct, straight-forward and a good motivator. I would highly recommend him for shoulder problems to any family member or friend.

From the first phone call to make an appointment EVERYONE was friendly, helpful and compassionate. I’m 80 years of age and needed a reverse shoulder replacement. Dr. Mair and his staff took the extra time to discuss my options and ultimately let me make the decision. Although this was not HIS first time doing shoulder surgery, it was MY first time and I felt he took all the time I needed to answer questions and reassure me that all would go well… and it DID! He, the hospital staff, everyone was so caring and understanding. My daughter went to the cafeteria to get lunch and a hospital staff person, that was in line behind her, paid for her lunch! So when I say everyone, I mean everyone 🙂 I cannot say enough about Dr. Jeffery Mair, and everyone who works with him, for their wonderful care and thoughtfulness. I will definitely recommend this doctor and this facility to anyone I know that needs his expertise! Thank you SO much! I’m glad it’s all done and I can start my physical therapy and look forward to having a pain free shoulder.

After not being able to perform even simple tasks with my right arm, physical therapy did not help. The reverse shoulder replacement was performed by Dr. Dieterle and the pain relief was immediate. Function of the shoulder was better with therapy. After 6 months post surgery, I have movement I have not had in 5 years and it improves daily. I can move and perform tasks over my head that I could not do previously. Shoulder does fatigue after a long day but it improves daily.

It has been approximately 5 years since Dr. Szalapski performed surgery on my right shoulder. My shoulder feels great. I am now having trouble with my left shoulder. I now live 2 hours away from TCO in Edina. It is well worth the drive for me to have Dr. Szalapski, Jessica, and his whole team be there for my left shoulder.

Recovered quickly after surgery with Dr. Dieterle. Little pain. Resumed normal activities within a couple weeks. Zip lined at 6 weeks and sky dived within a couple of months. Great outcome.

I have pain free range of motion and will continue to regain all ROM and strength. I had this shoulder replaced far earlier than I had done the right shoulder and saved myself from further pain, discomfort, and decreased ability to use the shoulder.

I’m very verbal about my surgery and hopefully am empowering others who have joint pain (of any joint) to consider replacement. If it’s a shoulder, I always recommend Dr. Dieterle.

Although I am still in the early stages of total recovery (10 weeks), I’m amazed at how well the surgery by Dr. Kelly and recovery have gone. Surgery pain was quick to subside (within days) and the shoulder pain (bone on bone + bone spurs) was totally gone immediately. Very thankful and pleased with the elimination of the day to day pain. By following PT plans, I’ve been able to notice constant improvement of restoring mobility and strength. Both are already much better than before the surgery and getting better every day. Prior to my shoulder surgery with Dr. Christopher Meyer, I was not able to use my right arm at all. Instead, I was using a sling to keep from moving it at all to avoid the extra pain that came with it. After my surgery, I was able to go back to my everyday life and use both arms again!
