Dr. Ridley re-attached my bicep on November 20th and the surgery was a complete success! After therapy, I have almost full movement in my arm and am able to use it without any problems. The follow-up visits were great and he answered all of my questions.

After a right shoulder reverse replacement 11 months ago, I have no pain, only occasional stiffness if I overdue it. I would recommend the procedure to anyone who wants relief from arthritis pain. Dr. Edward Kelly performed the operation and he couldn’t have been more pleasant, reassuring and thorough. His assistant, Lindsey, was helpful and impressive too. When I was able to begin physical therapy, Mike Dixey was very good and encouraging. I would recommend that anyone who has the procedure be sure to be faithful in doing physical therapy if you want a really good outcome. I have been treated by Dr. Meyer for years, he has helped me with multiple body aches and pains. I am more than pleased with the outcome of both knee replacements and shoulder rotator cuff repair. I am now able to do just about anything compared to before I was very limited in my activities. My follow-up care has always been great. While the inability to use my shoulders occurred slowly over time, the decision to have shoulder replacement in both my left and right side was game changing. The mental acceptance of my prognosis was the most difficult. Post-surgical pain was very manageable and 6 weeks without use was frustrating but manageable as well. Dr. Bakker was able to successfully remove my tumor hidden in my shoulder. I’ve had extreme pain on and off for two decades and we weren’t sure it could be successfully removed, but it was! From the beginning of the check-in process to the end of the discharge, everything was so smooth and nice. Lindsey was the nurse who inserted the hand IV and did the best job I’ve experienced. Usually my hand ends up being poked and prodded a few times and it turns out swollen and bruised, but Lindsey inserted the hand IV seamlessly with little to no discomfort.
