My total knee replacement with Dr. Kelly went well and physical therapy is a grind but I’m getting there. I am gaining range of motion and strength every day!

I am now at 6 weeks post-op from a total knee replacement with Dr. Christopher Meyer and I am certainly feeling as good as I did six weeks pre-op. I expect I will recover endurance and increase muscle tone as I continue to work back into shape. I’ve had knee problems since the age of 14 and have had three surgeries before this one. I am now 56. My experience with Dr. Michael Meisterling and his entire team was excellent. Dr. Meisterling is a very skilled surgeon. He has assembled a remarkable team. Each and everyone one of them I found to be skilled, kind, considerate and helpful in every way. My left knee replacement was on 11-24-20 at Osceola Medical Center. My right knee replacement was on 1-19-21 at Lakeview Hospital. Both facilities were also excellent. If I were to give Dr. Meisterling a score of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best, I would give him a 10+. Myrna J.

I have been treated by Dr. Meyer for years, he has helped me with multiple body aches and pains. I am more than pleased with the outcome of both knee replacements and shoulder rotator cuff repair. I am now able to do just about anything compared to before I was very limited in my activities. My follow-up care has always been great. I am an 82-year-old very active woman and it got to the point where my right knee was really causing me trouble. I had a knee replacement and it was a good thing. The first three weeks hurt but with PT things are getting better. I am still going to PT and am getting better each day. Dr. Christopher Meyer and his team were excellent.

Over the last 10-15 years I’ve accumulated multiple, minor knee injuries. Recently, I had another injury but this one felt a little different. It was more scary and more painful than ones I experienced in the past. I sought out Dr. Ridley at TCO for his insight. After a very thorough exam and x-ray series, we decided to manage the issue conservatively. Dr. Ridley recommended continuing with physical therapy; consisting of weight-bearing exercises, as well as range of motion mobility. My knee is now about 99% back to pre-injury status and Dr. Ridley has checked in multiple times to see how the progress has been going. I couldn’t be happier to have his insight and professionalism as a guiding aid!
