I am 69 years old and had a wonderful experience with my knee replacement performed by Dr. Bircher. He took time answering my questions and his team gave me a lot of information throughout the procedure journey. Their communication truly helped reduce the stress of having a major surgery. I loved that he took the time to talk with me and I never felt rushed. I was able to walk immediately after surgery and now I am four months post-operation. I am doing very well thanks to him and his team. If you are needing a knee surgery, Dr. Bircher should be your doctor!

In 2021 and 2022, I had my left and right knee replacements done with Dr. Eric Busse. He is wonderful! He used robotics for a quad sparing technique replacement. I have had no complications since he has the best surgical skill and outcomes. I have sent family members and friends to him, and their outcomes have been excellent as well. I am a Registered Nurse, so I was very picky about who I wanted as my orthopedic surgeon. I can honestly say I picked the best! Thank you to Dr. Busse and his team!

I recently celebrated the first anniversary of my second knee replacement, which was performed in March 2025 by Dr. Scott Anseth and his outstanding team. I had my first knee replacement in 2019 and experienced the same excellent outcome. I was playing tennis at six months, with full, unrestricted play by eight months. I am currently playing three to four times a week.

Dr. Bircher was my surgeon for both my knee replacement and my hip revision. In both cases, he was a remarkable doctor, and I was lucky to have had him as my surgeon. He very patient and kind. He truly listens and helps you to make the best decision that will get you to a successful recovery.

I had robotic-assisted total knee replacement surgery in January of 2026 with Dr. Bircher. He is an awesome doctor and very easy to talk to. He truly puts you at ease when discussing surgery. My surgery went well with little pain, and my physical therapy sessions were easier because of it. My quality of life has improved so much, and I no longer need to use my cane, which is a major benefit for me. I highly recommend Dr. Bircher and his team. They are the best!

I had a total knee replacement by Dr. Saterbak and her team one year ago. I would prefer to not need to do this again, but if I do need my other knee replaced, I will go straight back to Dr. Saterbak. She and her team clearly and carefully answered all my questions about the procedure. They were there to guide me through every step of the process. As a result of such excellent care, I recovered within a few months and was able to resume my active life. Six months after the surgery, I completed a ten-mile hike through hills on narrow forest paths. I owe a lot of this success to their superb skill and experience, especially Dr. Saterbak. I am grateful to her, Maren, Nick, and the EXCEL care team for such magnificent care.

Dr. Arntson performed total knee replacement surgery on both my knees. I couldn’t be more impressed with his kindness. He truly showed interest in making sure I was comfortable with every aspect of my care. If I ever need any orthopedic care again, I hope I can have Dr. Arntson as my physician.

My family has been surrounded by support from Twin Cities Orthopedics and their staff this year. My husband had a successful knee replacement with Dr. TJ Panek’s staff in the EXCEL program. Our older son injured his shoulder during his high school football season. His school’s TCO sports trainer, Julia West, has been supporting him through every step of his recovery as he prepares for his final high school baseball season. I am 57 years old. I have always played sports and working out is an important part of my life. As I got into my 50’s, my left knee was in pain after I did any kind of running or squatting. After X-rays revealed a deteriorating meniscus, I started getting cortisone and hyaluronic acid injections. Last year the efficacy of those treatments wore off, and the next step was a total knee replacement. After consulting with my orthopedic doctor, she recommended me to Dr. Bircher. I felt comfortable immediately upon meeting him. The next time I saw him was the morning of my surgery and he made me feel comfortable about the procedure. He offered to pray for me prior to the surgery which made me feel like I was in the best hands. When I was recovering after the surgery, he stopped by to check on me and answered all the questions I had.

The first 2-3 weeks were hard for me, and I struggled see a future where I would fully recover. Dr. Bircher ensured me that things would work out if I kept consistent with physical therapy. He was right! Three months later, I am back at my gym. I am scaling back some of the things I used to do, but I am amazed at how good my knee feels. If you are considering a knee replacement, I highly recommend Dr. Bircher. Stay on the path with rehab and be patient. It made a huge difference for me. I thank God every day for bringing Dr. Bircher into my life. I am forever grateful!

Dr. Scott Anseth and his team at Twin Cities Orthopedics performed my left knee replacement almost seven years ago and my right knee replacement in February 2025. I am back to playing golf and pickleball because my walking is normal again. His team is so professional and personable. They truly listen to your concerns. The day I had surgery, Dr. Anseth came up to my EXCEL recovery suite during the evening to check on me and have a bedside chat. After the long day, that visit really put me at ease.
