Dr. Ridley performed surgery on in November 2021. I am 12 weeks out and I feel almost 100%. I am very thankful for his expertise and the way he took his time with me and answered all of my questions. I have wanted to write a testimonial since it has been over a year since my surgery. We had to start off with a Zoom meeting due to the pandemic shutdown. I met with Dr. Gulli and he first thought I might have arthritis because I was able to lift my arm relatively well. However, the MRI showed I had a substantial tear. I was told by several nurses how Dr. Gulli spent a good amount of time in surgery. Within two months, I was able to flap my arms over my head. I am free of the pain that would wake me up in the middle of the night. He did an amazing job and the physical therapists were delighted at my progress in my follow-up appointments. I only had one month of physical therapy. I highly recommend Dr. Gulli!

My 17-year old son dislocated and tore his shoulder. With my son’s input, Dr. Hess discussed various options and came to the decision to perform surgery on his shoulder. Dr. Hess is a very personable and professional doctor and surgeon. It wasn’t a black and white situation and he didn’t treat it that way. He wanted to know my son’s thoughts and what his end goals were in all of this. He was thorough and let my son know the risks, setbacks, future outlook, etc. prior to any final decisions being made.

My son’s surgery went great. Dr. Hess was very open and communicative and came out to speak with us not long after surgery was done. I appreciate his ability to work with youth and to speak in a manner where those with less knowledge on medical terminology, can understand well. Though I hope he won’t ever have to do surgery on my kids in the future (for obvious reasons), I wouldn’t even hesitate to seek him out should it ever be needed.

From the very first appointment at TCO regarding my shoulder pain (rotator cuff), I felt a calming confidence about what was to come. Dr. Barry clearly explained the procedure and the potential length of time necessary for my ability to return to normal activities. The staff at the Blaine Orthopedic Surgery Center gave me comfort once I arrived and the surgery went smoothly. When the time came for me to begin my physical therapy, that initial confidence in TCO was enhanced. Their caring attitude and encouragement has had a profound impression on my progress. My family and I can’t believe how far I have come in just two months and as a result of my therapy. In early 2021 I started having tingling, weakness and pain in my right shoulder/arm. I was referred to TCO by my primary care doctor. My first meeting with Dr. Ridley was amazing. He got to know me has a person. I was never treated like another shoulder/arm case. Dr. Ridley truly listened to everything I had to say and answered all my questions. He was great at explaining everything to me.

He recommend physical therapy and chiropractic care to start. Both seemed to help but I was still having issues with my shoulder. Dr. Ridley didn’t hesitate to get me scheduled for a MRI on my shoulder. That’s when he found the problem, which was a slap tear in my shoulder. Dr. Ridley called me the same day to discuss my MRI results. He walked me through everything, including the results, options and the road ahead. Dr. Ridley and I made the decision that surgery was the best plan of action. He made sure I knew all the positives and negatives that comes along with surgery and what post-surgery would look like.

Dr. Ridley and his team were outstanding before, during and after surgery. I even got pictures of inside my shoulder, which was pretty cool to see. After surgery there was more physical therapy and Dr. Ridley actually read the physical therapist notes. When it came time for my appointments with him, he knew what was going on with my shoulder and where I was at in physical therapy. I felt Dr. Ridley truly cared about how I was doing.

I received the best care ever with Dr. Hartigan and his PA, Aaron! After injections and no surgery, I am feeling like a new person! The pain is totally gone and range of motion is coming back strong. Dr. Hartigan is THE BEST! Aaron made the injection feel like it was nothing. It was just a satisfying experience with the best in this specialty. I can’t thank you enough!

I saw Dr. Barry for my right shoulder rotator cuff tear. He took the time to explain the surgery and recovery process. When I was having trouble with a prescription refill after surgery, his Physician Assistant worked with the insurance company and the pharmacy to get it filled. Dr. Barry and his team were nothing but professional. They allowed me time to ask questions before and after surgery. The physical therapists were great too and provided Dr. Barry with updates after each session. I would definitely go to Dr. Barry if I ever needed surgery again. I highly recommend him and his team.
