I have been a patient of Dr. Meyer for 15 years. In this time he has given me relief from pain with seven successful surgeries (both hips, both knees, shoulder, arm, and a severely fractured ankle and foot). Dr. Meyer and his PA, Sommer Vaughn, have always been very caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable about my care. They listened to me as a patient and plans were made for necessary surgeries. These surgeries have enabled me to continue to enjoy a normal life in my later years. I am now 83 years young, enjoying my husband of 65 years, 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. I would advise anyone choosing orthopedic care to call TCO. It’s a close by facility.

I have one word – AMAZING! I have never met a more caring, professional care team all the way around. I had both knees replaced 8 weeks apart this summer. Dr. Arntson walked me through everything and made sure I was comfortable with the plan. The process of scheduling and the EXCEL program is hands down the BEST experience I have ever had. I felt very prepared going into surgery. By 6 weeks on both knees, I was walking without assistance and exceeded my flexion and extension goals. It is not as scary as people make it out to be. For the first time in 25+ years I have no pain. He has changed my life and I will forever be grateful to him and all the care team members!

In August of 2022, my shattered tibia plateau was repaired by Dr. Nielsen. I carried 28 pieces of steel in my leg until April of 2023. I was able to ride my bicycle again in June of 2023 and walk further than a lot of people on a very regular basis thanks to Dr. Nielsen’s care and expert surgical skills. Twin Cities Orthopedics and patients are going to be very grateful for Dr. Nielsen’s expertise.

My husband had two complete knee replacements by Dr. Ridley this year. His choice for orthopedic doctors was the best! Dr. Ridley is not only an outstanding surgeon, but his professionalism and follow up care ranks five stars also. If you’re in need for any orthopedic care, we would highly recommend Dr. Ridley as your doctor!

Dr. Busse is a wonderful provider and a caring man. He helped me get my life back after I had a terrible experience with a previous surgeon. He listens to you and really wants to help you. I am now driving 140 miles round trip just to keep him as my provider. I recommend Dr. Busse to everyone.

I am astounded that I was able to get into this wonderful clinic on just a moments notice. They take walk-ins! Travis Urbatch, PA-C was so personable and took X-rays for me. He ended up giving me a steroid shot for the pain in my overused knee. I was so thrilled. He was also willing to do the same for my painful finger joint so it wouldn’t lock up without feeling like I had to break it to get it to straighten out! All of that was done in one walk-in visit. I have to travel soon and the thought of hurting so much in the trip was worrying me. Thank you Travis. You are a great provider.

Dr. James Bircher is a fantastic surgeon. He was very interested in all levels of my health from our first meeting. It has been 3 months since surgery and Dr. Bircher is still following up. The physical therapy department is also very educated, dedicated, and thorough. Three months ago it was hard to do almost everything. Today my knee is 100% better. Thank You Dr. Bircher and TCO!

I just wanted to say thank you to Dr. Ridley for his care in repairing my knee/ACL. While I definitely wasn’t thrilled about having surgery, he made me feel at ease with the process and I appreciate it! While I hope to not need his services again, I will recommend him and TCO to anyone in need in the future.

In early March of 2023, I fell on some ice and tore my quad. Dr. James Bircher performed surgery the next morning at North Memorial Hospital in Maple Grove. He was kind, open, and honest with me the whole way through. I’m 76 years old and the pain and healing process went amazingly well! Thanks to Dr. Bircher’s surgical skills, along with his staff. I seem to be doing just fine. My other remarks are about my physical therapists at TCO. Leah and Nichole were simply the best I could ask for!

I had both knees replaced in November and December 2022. In August of 2023, I am walking pain free. For both of my surgeries, Dr. Marcus Mittelsteadt receives a perfect 10. I could not be happier with my results. From the clinics, to the hospital and therapy staff, everyone is knowledgeable and friendly.
