With over 15 years of experience as an outpatient physical therapist, Christy Reeb, MPT, has always enjoyed working with patients with a wide variety of orthopedic conditions. Her goal with each patient is to assist them in returning to their passions and restoring their quality of life and function. She helps her patients achieve their goals by trying to identify the root cause of their pain or dysfunction; focusing on improving their movement patterns and biomechanics to help their body perform at its best ability. Her evaluation is based on the advanced training that she received in completion of the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) Exam. Treatments are then a combination of hands on manual approach combined with corrective exercise to restore or retrain correct movement patterns and strength. As a former collegiate runner, she has a passion for the runner patient population and has pursued further professional training in this area. Christy enjoys many other sports as well, and loves the challenge of helping her patients return to their competitive or active lives. Outside or work, her husband, three boys and dog keep her on the go. She enjoys running, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and gardening when she is not carting her boys around to all their activities.
