Jennifer H. Wood, MD, is a board certified, dual fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma surgeon who is dedicated exclusively to the treatment of musculoskeletal trauma. As a fracture specialist, her expertise includes caring for patients with a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal injuries including: simple isolated fractures, complex fractures, pelvis fractures, and severely injured patients with multiple fractures. Additionally, she treats problems with fracture healing including: non-healing fractures (nonunion), bone infection (osteomyelitis), and fractures that have healed in a less than ideal position (malunion).
Dr. Wood grew up on the East Coast, and is a graduate of the University of South Carolina Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program. She completed an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship at nearby Hennepin County Medical Center, and a Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Fellowship at The Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, Maryland.
