Richard M.

When Dr. Anderson replaced my knee in October of 2016, I was informed that I should no longer run as a form of exercise and should increase my time on the bike. I was also told that I should not be able to wear out my new knee if I take care of it. Below is list of my current numbers 24 months post-surgery and not one issue. Dr. Anderson and his support staff are in a word amazing.

2017 and 2018 totals:

  • Distance: 16,193.1 mi
  • Time: 804 hours 29 min.
  • Elev Gain: 379,607 ft
  • Rides: 756

Dr. Anderson gave me my mobility, my passion for riding and working with horses, and a pain free life back. A lifetime of hard, physical work has taken its toll on my joints. Dr. Anderson is a consummate professional. He listens to your concerns, he’s thorough, sincere, (but funny too) and takes a no-nonsense approach to diagnosing and implementing a course of action that will provide the absolute best results. Dr. Anderson has replaced my left knee, my left hip and completed rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder. His fine work has absolutely improved my quality of life. Thank you Dr. A for taking so much pain away with your incredible skills!

I have been a patient of Dr. Kurt Anderson on several occasions since June 2000. I have had successful arthroscopic surgery on both my knees, one in December 2006 and the other in December 2007. The surgery was successful on both knees for several years. I had a partial knee replacement on my left knee performed by Dr. Anderson on November 4, 2012. The surgery was successful and the follow-up physical therapy I received at the TCO clinic in Otsego, MN was most helpful to gaining full strength in my knee. I played my first round of golf pain free three months after the surgery. It’s been thirteen months since my surgery and I’m very happy that everything turned out well. I consider Dr. Kurt Anderson an excellent orthopedic surgeon and friend, one I would recommend to my friends and others.

Absolutely tops. From the initial visit to the last post op appointment, I was always treated with courtesy and respect. My surgery was in the morning and hospital staff had me walking that evening. Dr. Anderson is not only a fine surgeon but has a great bedside manner also. He took all the time that was needed for questions from myself, my wife, my kids, when he made his rounds. My new hip feels and works great!

Gary M. has had 4 successful joint replacement surgeries with Kurt Anderson, MD. He first injured his shoulder in the 1970s and discovered that shoulder replacement surgery was an option after meeting with Dr. Anderson in 2003. Dr. Anderson replaced his shoulder later that year. From 2008-2009 Gary had both of his hips replaced and one of his knees replaced. “All my joints are great now,” said Gary. “I walk two miles each day, garden, and shovel snow. I feel healthier now than I felt 10 years ago.” The surgeries have helped Gary stay active and in shape. After 4 surgeries with Dr. Anderson, Gary states that he has not had any problems with his surgically repaired joints. “Dr. Anderson is a great person and great surgeon.”
